  1. I have deepcool gammax gt cpu cooler, it currently has one fan however comes with metal brackets to install another fan. Should I install another fan (will it improve performance)?
  2. seeing this, I think the RGB definitely looks better on the deepcool so I think I'm gonna stick with that, it was originally what I liked the most anyway don't see any other alternatives I like at a reasonable price (I can also upgrade case fans with left over money)
  3. I live in the UK and I currently run the stock wraith stealth/spire (not sure) cooler. My ryzen 5 2600 is overclocked to 3.9Ghz however I have to run the CPU fan at maximum speed to get any reasonable temperatures. At idle it runs at about 45C under mid load about 65C and under max load 85C. I would like to be able to run at 4GHz (I know it is possible) at much cooler temperatures to what I currently have. The requirements are that it has RGB and has nice aesthetics, its not wide (Does not cover RAM slots since I would like to put RGB sticks in there as well) under 161mm (nzxt says this is the max). My Budget is £50 So far the only ones I have seen are: Deepcool Gammax GT (£35.47 incl. shipping) Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Edition (£36.51) There doesn't seem to be that many other options but I really want the RGB bling inside my case (its all black and really dark). The only other option I can think of is getting a different cooler remove the stock fan and install an rgb fan on top but that might not be the best solution (?) It needs compatibility with the RGB on my Asus rtx 2060 strix and future compatibility of gskill rgb ram so that they can run in sync with each other. If listing fans can you offer temp performance comparison, loudness all at certain fan speeds including other factors that might affect it such as ambient temperature, thermal paste used, cpu used also a comparison to something like a corsair h100i just for reference thanks for the help
  4. Everything seems fine, maybe its just user benchmark being dumb
  5. Not the point, I previously benched it and its gone down in performance since then
  6. Not sure exactly what happened, went in to the bios and made a few changes, edited some software a little and now it is performing in the 73rd percentile (where it was before)
  7. I will try to reply tommorow with more detail when I can get onto my pc, my pcu is at 1.295 volts I think, and I'm using the stock wraith stealth cool thats runs 1500 rpm on idle, cpu at 45C, maybe it is the quiet fan curve I have in place which is causing thermal throttling decreasing performance?
  8. yeah i realise that now was gonna say b450 is different just because you can overclock whem compared with a320, i didnt look before but you can see we think alike ahaha, and yeah that 1660 is pretty beefy for the price

  10. It seems to have got worse performance over time... Maybe because I have more software running / run the cpu fan at a lower speed so its not as audible
  11. im tired and patched something together in a few minutes, definitely not the best value for money im aware
  12. According to user benchmark, my ryzen 5 2600 is performing below expectations: I don't understand, as previously it was in the 70th percentile.

  14. So i am very very happy with new purchase of asus rog strix rtx 2060, it runs very cool (about 50C max), and boosts to 2GHz, however I seem to have a few problems: Despite very good performance, I am experiencing random lag spikes in games (such as apex legends) and audio doesn't sync with whats happening; I have the latest drivers in GeForce Experience but im not sure what to do from now on... I did a fresh install of all the drivers using DDU thing, however im not sure if original RTX 2060 drivers remain before I updated them... Any help? This is the best card I've ever owned (Upgraded from an AMD Radeon HD 6670) so now im getting over 1350%+ performance
  15. I don't really know much about the vega 64 power consumption, what Power supply do you recommend? I have a be quiet! 600w Pure Power 10 with 80+ Silver efficiency however I have read that a 750w Power supply is recommended? I don't want to kill my system with yet ?
  16. i think my mind is set then?
  17. Which would be the best (with lots of fans) with similar aesthetics in your opinion?
  18. I'm aware both cards have a similar price point, however I don't know which one to choose. I have a ryzen 5 2600. I would like the asus rog strix version of the card (as these look the best in my opinion) Can someone tell me the benefits of each? Which would be better for value? anything specwise that differs majorly?
  19. nvdia is a ripoff lol but hey atleast i can ray trace my entire life
  20. okay, tbh as long as i can play at 60fps+ at 1440p im okay with rtx 2060 and it runs quietly too
  21. the only performance benefit seems to be at 4k+ resolutions I only have a 1080p monitor and may upgrade to a 1440p in the future but after watching some videos the v64 can perform worse in some games nothing against amd though i just want a really good first gpu
  22. yeah i've been saving up its a birthday present ive never had a good graphics card before... (highest performance i've ever experienced was a ps4 pro)
