Its not like the 3700X or the 3900X are that much more faster, unless you really need the extra cores for editing I'd just save the money and stick with the 8086K
 
And in terms of the games you play, CSGO favors Intel slightly for whatever reason and GTA V has such crap optimisation that it really doesn't matter what CPU you have (AMD or Intel, as long as it isn't some bargain basement dual-core it'll be fine)

I'd personally get the 3600 because of the IPC boost but the 2600 is still a solid choice for it's price and it'll do just fine for minecraft.

Do you have a dedicated GPU? The upgrades you mentioned do not have integrated graphics if that is what you are currently using.

You'll definitely see a difference with a 3600 because of the IPC boost from Zen+. Clock speed isn't everything.

Just get the GPU, it kills two birds (higher frame rate and streaming capability) with one stone compared to the CPU (3700x) which can only help with streaming

EVGA has the best customer service as usual, but apart from the blowers there are no cards that are especially bad.

2070super is slightly better, but 5700xt is hugely cheaper.
On a blind test you won't see the difference.

Imo, you generally shouldn't buy the G3, because it lacks multi rail OCP, and because it's so loud, compared to the competition. You can generally get PSUs that perform similarly enough and have all the expected protections, but are a lot quieter, for the same price or less.

All 240hz monitors are under $1,000 USD. So. Pick one and go.

And what's the problem here? this is expected behaviour and this hasn't any meaningful impact on power consumption.
 
If you want to force it downclock you have to select power saver on windows power settings then go to advanced power options on Processor Power Management select Minimum Processor State and max it out to 100%.
 
This is however have negligible impact on power savings at the cost of performance and slow downs as the system will take longer to turbo-up and purposely throttle itself.

Go with an AMD system,Intel is expensive for no good reason and is not as good as it used to be.
Also this motherboard doesn't have a heatsink on the VRMs,not to mention that the VRMs here are crap so you can't put a i7 9700K without severe throttling.

Go into the Nvidia control panel (assuming its an Nvidia gpu) and on the display panel, change the refresh rate from 60 -> 144

I will keep using my cassette walkman if it means headphone jack
