  1. It says hard drive condition good. But problem still persists.
  2. My hard drive makes clicking sounds while the laptop boots and booting takes too long (the OS is on a SSD). And for some reasons it fails(ie game just crashes and the hard drive restarts) while playing only FIFA 19. Any ideas what's going on and any solution?
  3. I kinda experienced a similar situation. For me, the wire connecting me to the ISP was damaged due to some reason and hence lot of packet loss. You could try connecting to the internet using a friend's internet connection just to be sure if the problem isn't with your computer (mostly not an issue with your computer). If it works fine, then the problem is on the ISP side. Either they're bluffing or there might be a damaged wire.
  4. Use a usb mouse temporarily and connect to the internet using an Ethernet cable and see if you can download the required drivers from here https://www.asus.com/support/Download-Center/#
  5. Oh shoot thanks, I get my backup done rn
  6. My WD hard drive occasionally fails. Sometimes the drive does not exist after booting. Sometimes the same happens after using the laptop for sometime. And in rare situations I get a message in disk management saying "disk not initialized". The system log sometimes has the message "device not migrated". Any idea what the problem could be and how to solve it???
  7. That spark only killed the RAM. Luckily mobo was safe.
  8. Hi I was replacing ram on my laptop when I accidentally dropped the ram slot cover on the motherboard. I saw a spark and when I turn on the laptop, it did not boot. I know that it's because of esd damage to the motherboard. I want to know if such type of damage is repairable or not. I own a Lenovo Y520 Thanks in advance!
