it wouldn't be so much dizziness,  more like false advertising since theres really only 3 gazillion colors and not as promised 5 gazillion (as the additional colors are apparently "temporal dither fake colors")

And indeed while i dont see a difference in *colors* 10 bit definitely feels worse, with more jitter and ghosting than apparently native 8bit colors, on my way overpriced barely functioning MSI "gaming monitor" at least... (hence im using an old, far superior ASUS monitor with true RGB mode and native 8bit colors... 🙂 )

Tristerin got a reaction from JaredVonBaren in 2666 MHz vs 3200 MHz RAM
For Ryzen in all of my testing (I have these dual channel kits 2133mhz kit, 3200mhz and 3600mhz) yes its a worthwhile bump in performance across most titles that your CPU is underperforming on.  (see, MOST this is all dependent title to title as mentioned above).

For gaming I have found through my Ryzen Zen trials that for performance its:

Overclock CPU first, largest and easiest gains here
RAM (must be dual channel, don't single channel a Ryzen) - Frequency over timings.  Obviously the better timings the best results but higher frequency (I.E. 3200mhz vs 2667mhz) plays a role more-so than timings needed to get those frequencies in all of the titles I have tested.

Ive done this over 1080p and 1440p monitors across both of my rigs in my sig.

EDIT - however if your mobo cant support it, nor can your CPU based on the guarantees of each - you may not hit 3200mhz anyhow, its all luck after that for complete stability.  My 3600mhz has issues with single core games for some reason, I crash a lot in LoL etc.
Don't regret your purchase it wont make or break gaming.  OC the CPU that will make up for more than the ram difference.

I'm not one for safeties in general (Glock kinda guy) but when I carried the G26, I definitely made sure the trigger guard area had a hard shell instead of a soft one.

Heard way too many stories of people blowing their dicks off with leather holsters.

Yes, I did carry appendix IWB. I wasn't worried, hard shell over trigger guard, extra careful when reholstering, etc.

Yes no, on this gun it doesnt matter, trigger takes 10 yards and 50 lbs of pressure to pull it back.  You would have to snag the gun up and force this action (I did not have any issue with drawing from holster to fireready position)

In the end - for me - in all things gun safety related the grey matter between your ears is the ONLY safety that matters - dont use that one, no amount of safeties in the world are going to help you lol.

Yup - going to have some fun now tuning in my OC again (woo!) and certainly going to have to find ways to get these games that don't natively support SLI (*cough* BeamNG.drive) to play ball.
Once again - thanks for your help, fingers crossed I can dial in the settings *just* right again for each game.

Tristerin is completely correct. Dedicated GPUs don't take advantage of the "Shared GPU Memory", a shame really as I A) Mistakenly thought they did B) I have a surplus of system memory
My solution will be to keep settings down below 4GBs of VRAM usage to maintain framerates - which seems really obvious know I think about it.

Thank you all for the clarification.

Discrete GPU's dont actually use your dedicated system memory.

Edit - to clarify its a Windows thing to display that, as far as I am aware, but only because iGPU's will use your actual System Memory as RAM.

It didnt, it just looks hopeful.  I am unaware of any discrete GPU that can actually utilize RAM (in terms of gaming GPUs, not sure about super cool AI stuff)

The amount of latency between your system ram, and getting to the GPU would be atrocious at best

For an iGPU, not so much.  (EDIT - why?  PCI lanes from CPU to RAM)

FYI - in SLI, only one cards memory gets used.

So you do not have shared pool of 2x 4gb (or whatever the 3.5 + .5 is) you just have the top cards VRAM.

Ouch! I knew they wouldn't combine to make 8GBs but I didn't realise they'd only use 1 cards dedicated memory...!
I just assumed they duplicated the buffer as the leapfrog to make frames.

My pitbull is professionally trained because of the stigma.  He will do whatever I tell him to do.  Good, or bad.  Its beautiful.

I had him trained so that he would only defend the women in my house and at my command.

Pitbulls are the most loving, loyal, wantingtoimpressyou canines I have ever had the pleasure to call family.

Be afraid of a pitbull guarding its territory or its pack.  That much I can agree with.

Really? Very interesting, everytime I use BT headphones, there is either huge delays, or Windows doesn't know how to properly use the both as headphones and microphones. It was always a pain with BT. But I was using mainly office style headsets, like plantronics / jabbra's.

Well, If you're talking about latency, yes. If you care about sound, perhaps not. The only wireless headphones out there that I would really recommend by their sound are going to be bluetooth, which might not be the worst for gaming-especially if you're not playing games that rely much on sound. I played at a semi-competitive level for a while on a bluetooth headphone, it was alright. Let me stop rambling and get to the point, though.

If you're not interested in music much, or anything of the sort, and you want something that's lower latency, a good amount of the time I'd just recommend going with something that you like- something that has the features you want, that's comfortable, hell if you want something with RGB, go for that. Just go out to your local bestbuy and see what you like. Almost all of them will sound pretty similar, and will have 2.4ghz low-latency dongles (Transmitters?).

If you want stuff that sounds good, here are my recommendations across different pricepoints:

-Koss ksc35 wireless- low end. Around $30 USD and they sound excellent for the price. Very lighweight, ear clips may not be comfortable for some but I've heard also purchasing the ksc75 and switching their earbands can work. It's economical, it's wireless, it sounds good. It looks mediocre-at-best if you care, and its battery life isn't exactly the greatest. (Alternative, koss porta pro wireless)

-Akg k361/371 BT- lower midrange. Around $120-$150 USD, they're Nicer over-ear headphones that you can also use wired (they actually function a good amount better when they're operating wired, but they're still a good option wireless).

-Hifiman deva pro- Midrange/ upper midrange. Around $300-$320 USD, it's First Open-back headphone on this list, which means it'll bleed sound. It can also function with wired, and comes with an external modual that you plug into them to make them function. They're not exactly light, they're not exactly beautiful, but they sound damn good.

-Hifiman Ananda-BT - Basically the most expensive wireless headphone around. Around $700 USD (iirc), I don't really know why you'd go with it, but it's there. I own the wired variant, quite nice.

I have never come across this. 150ms would be very noticeable, like click mouse gun muzzle flash then after delay hear sound. This is not the case. I'm pwning noobs in BFV just fine with any of the wireless sets I've used in the past. The whole two lol, Corsair and the PS4 gold headset, both of which are 2.4ghz options with their own dongles.

Honestly, I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile but I know when something doesn't sound "right" if you know what I mean. Like listening to music through a wall with your ear up against a glass.

what CPU? Unless its a CPU with a G at the end of it, you won't have any type of video output off the motherboard. Even then, you may need a BIOS update potentially to support newer APUs like the 5600g or 5700g.
