Mail In Rebates - why I don't purchase quite a few things on "sale".  MIR's rarely if ever get processed in my personal experience (Ive received zero back in 2 years and the time spent trying to run these "savings" to ground to no fruition makes them zero value).  Give me a promo code, money off immediately, Ill buy it.  But anymore I just do not trust any of the vendors for PC parts to reliably process their own MIR's.

I've had good success with EVGA MIR's, but that's it.

*Edit* I think the Corsair MIR i got for my PSU also went okay. It was a while ago so I dont quite recall, but still. The EVGA one was easy, just took a while to get the debit card.

Regular MIR offers are not a thing where I live, but as far as I have heard and what I have experienced, the companies running these try to make them as inconvenient as possible, to make sure most people will not end up claiming the rebate.

    I agree I hate them.
