  1. Im not looking to upgrade after this for a while, like 3 - 5 years, so by then i would buy a whole new system. And i don't mind the oc.
  2. I'm asking whether my areocool integrator 500w would be sufficient for my build. I have used it for a year now with my 1050ti and i3 7100, h110m-r motherboard. And now i'm upgrading to a 1070 (zotac mini one) and have already ordered an i5 7600k with a cpu fan aswell. What i intend on doing is installing the cpu before i get my graphics card at christmas though not entirely sure if it is worth getting a new PSU for the system. Also not entirely sure how PSU's work as in do thay all have the same cables? so i can still plug in all the same things or do they have more or less cables.. if so, what one can i get which has the same cables as the integrator? Though the integrator has held me up for 1 year and most people with issues had them earlier. So not sure if i can keep the integrator for a bit after the 1070, like half a year or another then get a new psu... https://pcpartpicker.com/user/georgech900/saved/#view=nC3kdC so as you can also see I have put an evga supernova there as a possible upgrade psu but i still want opinions whether i should or not upgrade, hopefully you read the passage above.
  3. 1070:https://www.ebuyer.com/780067-zotac-geforce-gtx-1070-mini-8gb-graphics-card-zt-p10700g-10m?fo_c=951&fo_k=b804bf28e49e2fd807c71d5be8e40dfe&fo_s=webgains&wgu=267255_206719_15435635692471_ce2c5de0bd&wgexpiry=1551339569&utm_source=webgains&utm_siteid=206719 Hey there, I'm looking to get a new PSU as currently, I run an areocool integrator 500w which I have found on threads that it's a 50/50 chance it won't fry your system. I am looking to do so due to the fact i shall be upgrading to a 1070. currently i have a 1050ti and an i3 7100, i shall also be getting an i5 7600k. Motherboard = H110M-r . Budget left for PSU: £80 (only send ones with shipping to britain as well pls)
  4. Yeah, I'm 100% hyped for this! it looks so good! However, I'm stuck between this or low-end rift... I have a 1050ti which is capable of a decent rift experience though my room isn't the biggest and being able to use the Quest in any room means is not limited to the smallish room my pc is in... so idk, what's your opinions??? (running an i3 7100 - This is better than the minimum spec on the Oculus website, and the 1050ti is minimum spec, though I have seen Skyrim VR running fine on it and that's a pretty big game idk...)
  5. Would you rather oculus rift on its minimum specs (1050ti and i3-6100) or rather an Oculus Quest? Just curious (Explain your arguments!)
  6. https://www.amazon.co.uk/quiet-Straight-Power-Black-supply/dp/B078X22YBS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1537982906&sr=8-3&keywords=Straight+Power+11+550w i will actually get the 450W since thats all i really need and it is £20 cheaper lol. Thank you i hate how expensive pc parts are :,(
  7. Should i go for a good 550W straight power 11 considering i shall be getting a 1060 6gb.. or is that not so demanding.. (i will be getting the 1060 around xmas and the i5-7500 early october - idk if thats useful) PS: jeez you typed alot of info thanks bro
  8. Yeah funny thing is I was going to sell my ps vita for smn like £90 so that I can use that solely for a new PSU Do you reccomend that as the best for my psu budget or anything better potentially...
  9. Lol dw i have this weird thing where i'm too afraid to overclock as I might burn out my stuff lol. idek why. But yeah ill surely upgrade it eitherway
  10. Thanks! but I'm kind of on the 1060 6gb side of upgrading since its a bit more in my budget. But yeah I will look into upgrading within a year,
  11. My full pc specs: Core i3-7100 (gonna upgrade to i5-7500) H11OM-R ASUS motherboard 8gb ram, 1050ti (currently) then the AreoCool intergrator 500W psu
  12. Hey! i was wondering if a 1060 or potentially a 1070 would be ok on my current PSU: https://www.dinopc.com/aerocoolr-integrator-500w-500-watt-80-plusr-bronze-psu The website says that the PSU is reliable and I have been using it fine for a year with my 1050ti. I have seen places say that AreoCool isn't a great company and the components they make are quite low quality, but other places say as long as its Bronze 80+ its okay! Would be nice if someone could clear this up for me
