  1. No you can not. Some boards have a port where you can plug your USB drive so it updates the BIOS without having a CPU installed. But on this board thats not the case. But(!) i don't think it's necessary because every B450 board should be shipped with a BIOS that supports 2nd gen or even 3rd gen Ryzen.
  2. Thank you, but that didn't help. I tried running first aid on container 1 tho. It exits with an error which seems like it's the exact same one as the guy in the link has. Here's a screenshot. I don't know how good your german skills are but it basically says (line by line): Repairing file system running (command) error: [...] exit code for file system repair is 65. verifying or repairing file system failed. Edit: I tried going into recovery mode, the problem seems to be nonexistent there. First aid exits with code 0 which means everything's fine and both volumes are activated, too. Even at the window where you can choose which volume to boot from both volumes appear. Very weird... Edit 2: I have installed windows on a separate partition and in windows the BootCamp control panel lists both volumes(Mac OS and Windows)...
  3. Mmh maybe Mac OS recognizes the drive as external, but when it tries to update it tries to address an internal (not existing) one... But that'd imply that external drives aren't supported for updating, which in turn would not make any sense... Btw you don't have to search anything for me. I accept it gratefully, but i would be more than happy for a little hint, too.
  4. Mmh do you mean changing the formatting without deleting any data ? Before i installed Mac OS i formatted the drive to APFS, which you can see in the 3rd screenshot where it says "APFS-Container" so i don't see the point in formatting it to APFS. But i'm not quite sure if i understand you correctly.
  5. Hi. I got a problem with my Mac on Catalina. I think it's definitely a software-related issue. So my device is a MacBook Pro 13" 2014 (A1502). I upgraded the SSD from 256GB to a Corsair MP510 960GB SSD using an adapter from Sintech(i believe). Installation of the OS worked perfectly fine, i just had to make a live-boot Ubuntu-Drive to format the SSD before starting the installation. Everything but installation of updates for the OS and installation/updates of apps that use the old installer works.... When i try to install updates by clicking the button in the settings>software-update, it restarts and the white progress bar appears. But then everything takes way too little time and im back in Mac OS. Then i search for updates again and it seems like the update wasn't successful. Thats the case. Sadly. In Disk Utility, i can see a container with two deactivated volumes in it. When i try to activate them i get a "com.apple.DiskManagement.disent"-error. Searching Google didn't help there. Updates in the App Store don't show up and when i try to install apps that use the old installer where you have to select a drive to install the program on, no drive appears. The same happens when i go into settings>boot volume. There doesn't appear a disk/volume, too. I will attach screenshots of the problems as far as possible (i'm german, so the system language is set to german too :/ sorry). I don't know what to do, so i thought i'd seek for help here. Thanks in advance.
  6. Got everything working (i think) but when i type in sudo docker exec steamcache /scripts/watchlog.sh i get: #Watching logs... and when i download a game, i get no output from the watchlog... DNS-Server on Client is the server-ip.
