  1. yea the I9 9900k is compatible. I'll try updating the bios. I hope this fixes the darn thing.
  2. I'm building a new PC had everything hooked up and the PC would power on then off. I removed everything but the CPU and it did the same. I removed the CPU and the PC now powers on. Could the CPU be bad I'm gonna pull what hair I have left out CoolerMaster c700m case I9 9900k NZXT Kraken X72 360mm MSI godlike z390 CORSAIR Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 LED Desktop Memory - Black EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming, 11GB GDDR6, iCX2 & RGB LED Graphics Card 11G-P4-2487-KR Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 1TB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) Corsair RM 1000x PSU
  3. K will do. The PSU I'm using is brand new. I don't have another PSU to test. I did tighten the screws for the AIO snug and in a cross pattern and it doesn't move. I will probably remove the motherboard and check behind it. reseat the CPU and the AIO later today. Thank you for your help guys.
  4. The PC doesn't stay on long enough but there is a debug led and it's 00. I removed all cables and put a different set of cables didn't help
  5. Yea I did this thank you I pulled everything back out except the motherboard, CPU, AIO and the 2 8 CPU power and the 24 pin power. When I press the power button it comes on for a few seconds then powers off.
  6. I was gonna buy a prebuilt system because I'm a so sick and I am a 100% severely disabled veteran, but my son wanted to build a PC together even though I haven't worked on PCs since 2005. I just dont have the strenth to figure this new stuff out so now I have a 60 lb paperweight. CoolerMaster c700m case I9 9900k NZXT Kraken X72 360mm MSI godlike z390 CORSAIR Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 LED Desktop Memory - Black EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming, 11GB GDDR6, iCX2 & RGB LED Graphics Card 11G-P4-2487-KR Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 1TB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) Corsair RM 1000x PSU I spent over 5000 dollars on this and it doesn't work. I pulled everything back out except the motherboard, CPU, AIO and the 2 8 CPU power and the 24 pin power. When I press the power button it comes on for a few seconds then powers off. There is a red light on the power button that's on the motherboard that stays on.
  7. I'm a 100 % Disabled Veteran and I'm having a really hard time putting the PC together. My son has been trying to help but he knows less about building a PC than I do. Anyone Live near Lacey WA that an expert on building PCs? The last PC I built was in 2010 and man things have changed. I have installed the Motherboard, CPU, AIO. I am having a hard time seeing where to put the wires on the motherboard mainly the crazy RGB hubs and wiring. So If anyone lives close let me know if you have a few hours to check my PC out and help me finish it. We can talk about compensation after Someone agrees to help. email is Cis242@yahoo.com
  8. You could buy some labels and label each wire. Something like this Mr-Label US letter Sheet Self-adhesive Cable Label - Waterproof | Tear Resistant - with Free Print Tool - for Laser Printer (10 Sheets (300 Labels), 5 assorted colors)
  9. Go head if its really dusty in the case get a can of compressed air blow out all the dust.
