great

got new keyboard however it needs bluetooth which my pc dont have wat can i do other than get a dongel

tbf im getting new gpu soon anyway will it last another month or so?

i didnt monitor temps earlier but atm they seem ok and i am running a similar load to the most recent black screen

i have tried to clean the dust but coudnt get the card open due to not having the right screwdriver and dunno how old thermal paste is as its 2nd hand but i havent changed it since i got it almost a year ago

hi i have a gtx 470 and so far its black screened on me 3 times today and ived had to switch the pc off and on to get it to work again the first 2 times it was loud but the most recent it stayed at normal volume is this a sign my graphics card is dying or is a monitor issue? also it has never black screened on me b4 so this is weird

so i put back together pc it got to the bios screen as wanted to check temps and after leaving the bios it shut itself off and im scared to boot it back up

yep i hve gtx 470 cable could have been knocked when i put the pc back on its side

i had a 500gb hdd sat in my pc doing nothing so after removing i put the ssd in but not with the seater thing as i have seen main youtubers just connect the ssd and leave it roaming in the pc also i coudnt fit the front fan and assuming it was alright i put back together my pc and hooked up all the wires however upong booting the screen was a mess just green and pink lines and the system made some weird noises which stopped after i turn both switches at the wall off should i be concerned ?

no idea what a capacitator is but ok and cpu has thermal paste that isnt dry

tried dat once and the psu died in a few days

nope system is not on fire

just now turn on pc for first time in a week as cpu kept overheating now when i turn it off it makes like a weird sizziling sounding noise not from any of fans and when plugging psu in noise comes from main case fan

on ebay found a gtx 670 for £60 yet a 580 for £50

ok i think i found a good steal a system for £140 has an i7-2600 500gb hdd and 4gb ram (i can add more from my own system) no gpu but with £60 still i can easily find a good one for £60

also i do not get dell as prebuilt and the upgradibilty on those things is awful

under £200 and free postage buy now and nothing except 1 system very similar to my own

may sound odd but cex hasent found much nor has ebay and 1st hand is too expensive as im on a budget of £200 as mentioned i live in uk and what a new system or parts to upgrade current online where do iget them 2nd hand

my system features an i5-2400 and gtx 470 and an arctic 11 pro cooler for any of u that use the 11 pro u know what i mean by 4 rubber things and 4 small rubber holes that have to be inserted or looped in the holes case its hard to explain anyway one day after cleaning the gpu and cpu cooler the cpu shot up to 80c and overheating upon idle turns out one of the things needed to get the small holes to loop snapped in half and so the fan didnt seat properly im assuming this is a cpu cooler issue as dad has got the a new one on the way but i need to clarify that it is the cooler that is the issue

it was a 2nd hand one custom built from cex and im looking to upgrade it
