  1. In the US, and no preference on either.
  2. She's using it to play some games like ARK, Warframe, and probably Apex.
  3. I'll check this one out, thank you!
  4. My computer was being weird a little bit ago, and I couldn't get it to wake from sleep and display the image on the screen. I messed around with it a bunch, turning off the monitor and PC, and eventually unplugging both, and eventually it worked. But, when it got back on the screen, I realized that it had changed to my old boot drive that I keep in my computer. Does anyone have any idea what happened? Thank you for any help, and I might not be able to respond immediately as it is very late here.
  5. My friend is looking to buy a good gaming laptop for about $1200. We were going to buy a GP63 with a 1070 as an Open Box deal on Newegg for $1200, but that's no longer there, sadly. Does anyone have a recommendation of what we can get instead?
  6. I have the Meshify C, so I'm guessing more noise gets out than for other people. And yeah, I knew it would be pretty subjective here. But I couldn't really describe how loud it was. My TV is right next to it, and i need to have it past 20 before I really don't notice it anymore. And yes, TV volumes also vary, but it's the closest thing I've got.
  7. I have an EVGA 1080Ti SC2, and when I play games, my Temps go up to about 72C, which causes my fans to go up to about 70%. I know I could adjust the fan curve, but even if I go to about 50% it's still decently loud. Is this normal for this card?
  8. Sorry, and thanks for the tip. Rather new here. Alright, guess this sucks for me then.
  9. Sorry for being unclear, I meant that they don't cycle in sync. I can make them the same static color. And darn, I thought for sure I'd be able to sync them all together.
  10. I'm not really sure where to put this, figured here would work because I've got two out of the three options in the question. I have a Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 5 Motherboard, G.Skil Trident Z RGB RAM, and an EVGA SC2 1080Ti. All of these come with RGB and the ability to cycle through colors. My question is, how do I get them to sync together? I've tried using Asus Aura, and only my RAM is detected. I've tried using Gigabyte's RGB Fusion, and only my motherboard and RAM are detected, and don't sync together. If anyone has any ideas on how I could sync these, it would be amazing. The out of sync issue gets irritating after a while.
  11. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a DisplayPort cable that can handle 1440p at 165hz? I've bought two so far and both of them have failed to work (I know it's not the monitor as the one that came with it works, it's just too short). So, anyone got a good recommendation for one? Preferably one that's above 10 feet, my monitor is decently far away from my PC.
  12. I have a drive with Windows on it, and whenever I try to load up with that drive selected, it tells me to insert boot media. I think there's something messed up with the Windows Boot Manager. Currently, I'm only able to load up the Windows with my alternate hard drive. Is there any way that I can do a reinstallation of Windows to my hard drive so that it will load up again?
  13. I just got my new Gskill Trident RGB RAM, and I wanted to make it sync with my Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 5 motherboard with the RGB. The issue is, when using RGB Fusion, I can't seem to get them to cycle at the same time. Does anyone know a way to fix that? This software is awful and I don't really know my way around it. Thank you for any help that you're able to give :)
  14. I've got a 1080Ti. And yeah, the issue I had was that the IPS ones were really expensive with G-Sync, which really sucked.
  15. Well, the plan was to just return or sell this one and get a new one since I didn't like it. I'll take a look at the ones that you recommended, thank you!
  16. I heard from a bunch of people that G-Sync is really nice to have. I got the Dell for about $330 (+$50 GeekSquad Protection). Budget is around $450 and I live in the US.
  17. Which of these monitors would use guys get? My main concern here are the picture quality and the viewing angles. I currently have the Dell 2716DG but the viewing angles are shoddy and the color isn't the best (even after calibration). Anyone used both and have an opinion?
  18. So, I enabled Multicore Performance in my BIOS, and then I got this image. After that, it seemed to work fine and I'm getting scores around 1475, so thanks everyone for the help! But does anyone happen to know why this image happened? It's the second time something like that has happened after I saved something in the BIOS.
  19. I didn't see that in there, not sure where to find that. Would not having that on explain why I'm getting such low scores?
  20. The highest temp I've seen so far is 71C, so I don't think that's the issue. (I guess it could be?) I'm not sure what MCE is, so I don't think I have that enabled.
  21. Noctua NH-D15, two intake fans, one exhaust fan. I don't think it's thermal throttling, the temps don't seem to go too high. And the motherboard is an Aorus Gaming 5.
  22. I've got a friend who is getting about 1500 on his Cinebench scores at stock speeds, but mine are only about 1300, 1350 at max. Is that normal? If not, is there any way that I can improve it?
