  1. Hey techies, I have an old Suunto T6C Sports watch without its strap and without the data cable for connecting to a pc. It does however come with a foot-pod and a heart rate monitoring belt. I do quite a bit of running and cycling. Would it be possible to use these sensors with a different device? Or is it just e-waste at this point?... (I have a Garmin Edge 830 for cycling. Could it accept data from the heart rate monitor for example?) Cheers,
  2. Dear techies, I recently got a new mouse (a Razer viper 8k) and out of the box it had no issues. However after a couple of weeks it stopped working on startup (The mouse doesn't seem to get power, for the LED doesn't work either). I have to unplug and re-plug the mouse for it to work like normal. Switching USB-ports does not prevent the issue from happening again when rebooting. Only my mouse is acting this way. I am running windows 10 pro on a more than capable system. This issue has occurred in the past, but that was on a different machine, when my keyboard was having such issues. If anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.
  3. The stabs on the keyboard came pre-lubed. Should I really re-lube them?
  4. Would installing a dampening cloth/material be worth it though? And if so, what should I purchase?
  5. Dear keyboard enthusiasts, I have bought a Ducky One 2 Mecha Mini (Cherry Brown) and I am considering whether I should de-solder and lube the switches. I have - apart from the good improvement in the sound the switches make - no idea how much of an improvement lubing the switches will give to the feel of the keyboard. I don't much care about the effort/hassle of de-soldering, lubing and then re-soldering the board, yet I have next to no real experience soldering. We do however own a decent soldering iron, and I feel like it is something I could do. Next to all this I was thinking of putting in some dampening material in the aluminium case, to further help with the sound. What are your thoughts on this? Is it worth voiding the warranty on a new keyboard? I can't just go out and buy a new one if I were to mess it up badly, though I don't know if it is easy to actually kill the PCB. Would a dampening material help? Thanks in advance.
  6. Hey, I am sort of stuck in the same boat here. Building a system with a ryzen 3600, 32gb 3200mhz ram and a 2070s. I am planning to OC my 3600, but nothing too crazy. My biggest doubts however come from limiting my future upgrades, and perhaps resale value. Should I wait for b550 or get a solid b450 or even a midrange x570? As a sidenote, I do want some decent IO. Thanks in advance
  7. would there be any benefit to making a wifi bridge with an additional router, vs using a network adapter?
  8. My friend is building a pc and apparently cannot run ethernet up into his room. So he will need an adapter! Any suggestions on an adapter that won't bottleneck an - albeit casual - gaming experience? Thanks for your time
  9. So ever since I got my AIO from corsair about 4 months ago, the RGB seems to have developed a mind of it's own! This really bugs me as the rest of my components (Vengeance pro RAM, LL120 fans) create a nice scheme together. It is plugged in through the NZXT USB 2.0 HUB (so are my fans, and they seem to work fine. already tried switching ports) At first it was not controllable at all. But after some digging I discovered they were set to 'disabled' in the device manager... After I enabled them it worked. That was, for a couple of weeks. After which I was once again left with an uncontrollable corsair logo 'rainbowing' through the rest. I went ahead and uninstalled icue alltogether, re-installed it and it worked! Again for a short time. It is now in a state where it is controllable after starting up my pc, but after 40 ish minutes (inconsistent as far as I know) it just jumps back to factory settings. Any ideas on a fix? thanks for your time
  10. okay, successfully flashbacked the board today to version 6401 !
  11. In what way is the ducky better? havent owned or used either, but know a fair share of mechanical keyboards. I would (at this pricepoint) go for whatever you like the most. That extra 40 euro's should not break the bank, and if it does you should get the cheaper one or go for another (maybe not so RGB heavy) mechanical keyboard. Hope this helps!
  12. So i am going to install a R7 2700X alongside 32gb 3200mhz memory in this mobo. It is currently not running a bios version compatible with zen+, so ill be updating it via bios flashback. Which bios should i use? Thanks!
  13. as of right now guys, im thinking of going 2x16 and just buying the corsair rgb fillers for clean looks. thanks for the suggestions!
