  1. I could describe it like the apple ecosystem, because of it popularity there's usually a lot of community mods. There's also simplicity, ique can control a lot. I don't want to have a seperate app to control motherboard rgb and a seperate app for keyboard and etc. I kind of think of it as the pc version of the "apple tax," I'll pay more now but in the long run it'll pay off on support, software, and warranty. I gave that a look, I think I'll just stick with something that can easily sync up my rgb and doesn't require extra software. I'm also looking for a full keyboard layout with volume knob and preferably media keys, I think it would be cheaper to go with a corsair keyboard than to build a mechanical keyboard with similar functions.
  2. I could try that, but I'm trying to keep my desktop an Asus/Corsair build.
  3. I'm also open to any corsair deals that y'all might find to be better.
  4. Hey, I've come across a fork in the road, I need help deciding on whether to get the Corsair K95 with speed switches or K70 MK.2 with blue switches. They are both available for the same price. I like the clickyness of blues but, how well does that work out for daily use, will it get annoying and such. I'd like a switch that is "comfortable" for typing and gaming. Should I go with the K95 for clout, RGB light bar, and dedicated programmable keys. This will be my first mechanical keyboard purchase. I don't know much about how mx speed switches feel since I never tested them. My current keyboard is a Dell Multimedia Pro, I use the home and calculator shortcut quite a bit, should I go with the K70 and remap pause/break and print screen keys or get the K95 and use the G keys, do such shortcuts exist in icue, if not I could probably learn to live without the shortcuts. In summary, whats a good switch for typing and gaming, K95 or K70, and what are your opinions. 5. Anything under 5lbs is fine. Will use for light Photoshop, Premiere, and Minecraft! Mainly for school.
  6. I am from the US. No, it doesn't have to be a 2 in 1. Nothing too heavy or beefy like a gaming laptop. Long battery life is what I look for, 8 or more hours is preferred.
  7. Hi, I'm looking for a 13" or 15" ultrabook, thin and light, or 2 in 1 with thunderbolt 3 under $1000. I saw the xps 9360 but that only uses 2 lanes for thunderbolt, I'm going to do some light gaming and editing so a dedicated gpu would be a plus but not required since I could get an egpu later. Touch screen is a must, stylus would be preferred but not needed. Any processor above an i5 is what I want, I'm okay with ryzen but I don't think they will have thunderbolt. I guess I'm a little too picky so if its a little above $1000 then that will also work. Thanks
  8. I too had a similar battery problem but on the Nexus 6P, the solution for me was to go to developer options and under networking turn off Mobile data always active. Then use up your battery completely, after the phone turns off try to turn it on till it boots up, it took me 3 times till it turned on, and keep using it until it turns off by itself, my phone just stayed at 2% for 2 hours of use. After the phone turns off by itself a second time charge it up and see if battery life has improved.
  9. I'm thinking of getting a GTX 1080 ROG STRIX version, does $500 seem reasonable or will the launch of RTX lower the price even more?
  10. So which card would be better for video editing and gaming, and which card has better features and they are both $499. AMD also has a promo for 3 free games. I know people say the 1080 is better but I don't think they're referring to the founders edition. Thanks
  11. I'm trying to decide between 2 graphics cards for video editing and gaming, the price doesn't matter. I'm picking either a ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 ROG Strix 8GB or ASUS ROG STRIX RX Vega 56 O8G Gaming OC. I might be doing a slight overclock but nothing too insane.
