  1. Hey, I wanna buy this laptop that has a great 1999€ price, it comes with a single channel of DDR4 2666MHz. 1) So, keeping that in mind, the store sells at moments only G.SKILL Ripjaws 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4-2666MHz CL18, WILL IT WORK in Dual Channel even if the already installed stick has less CLxx?! 2) I gona repaste it with Coolermaster Maker Nano (found out is the best choise), and I gona add a Thermalpad 0,5mm from Artic to the other componentes (VRAMs or whatever its called?). Do u recomend it along with undervoltage? Thanks alote!
  2. Well it comes with a i7 8750H with a single channel of 16GB DDR4 2666MHz and 512GB SSD + 1TB HDD, all setups are 17,3" with FHD panel (some are no IPS other are). In my country all 1080s are not anymore at sell so even if they were they would go over 2000$ belive me! I play some old games like BF4 for MP but new games to (mostly for singleplayer). Resolution its only 1080p and it will be. Ofc if i choose a GTX 1070 I will get space for a more 16GB (stick) of ram since it comes with a single channel in all laptops that I can find! Well the RTX 2060 Laptop is as fast as a 1070TI in a Desktop?! Is that even possible? I see alote underperfomance of the 2060 Laptop vs 1070 Laptop. Can it be?!
  3. Hello there. Im in a big dilema. In my country (Portugal) I have alote problems with what "GPU" as laptop should I choose. A GTX 1070 costs about 1600€ (1500$) and a RTX 2070 costs about 2100€ (2000$) so, both have almost same specs (CPU, RAM, etc etc) most cases like MSI doesnt change much or Lenovo (are quite expensive). The RTX 2060 is less perfomance then a GTX 1070 (right?) in a laptop question. Even seeing Notebookcheck I dont get a close conclusion what to buy. I dont care about ray trace, I mostly play even locked to 60 FPS to not force to much temps in the laptops. So what u would choose, models, etc etc? Thanks alote for ur help!
  4. True. I got that turned of, after I turned on I got 100 to 145 FPS... LOL
  5. Well mine are https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3000c16d-16gisb Im using it with a Ryzen 2600, well I don´t have the desired perfomance but what can I do, whats done is done, still its 50€ diference for what I paid! Example: For AMD u need this https://www.globaldata.pt/gskill-kit-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3200mhz-flarex-ryzen-cl14-preto-f4-3200c14d-16gfx?utm_source=kuantokusta&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=catalogo toooooo expensive, its just crazy!
  6. yep thats what I have as a problem my GSKill isn´t the best... timmings are 16-18-18-38 CL16 at 3000MHz
  7. From what I heard u need a 200€ ram to get the most of ryzen but who Im to say that!
  8. Its not about "preferences" but disapointment with the R5 2600. I got 20 to 30 FPS less then a i5 8600. Yes he loves BF too so, thats why I gave him the advice. He already has a Memory Kit, not a great on thats why, Im guess its a G.SKILL Aegis 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3000MHz CL16... not exactly great for AMD myself have it... BUT hey u know more then I do, thats why i asked here. BTW im talking in dollares but we are Euro and prices for ram are skyhigh atleast in Europe. Even for our kit (same as mine) I spended 135€ or for him it was even more 140€ I guess... prices did go up. So... ur advice is to go for a 2600X and Overclock it? He already owns a watercooler and powersupply and ram stick, has a 2080 (was a gift from some event) so... remains board and cpu... thats why I asked... sadly he can´t afford K versions or i7.
  9. Not even lock all turbo speed to 4.3GHz? Saw that in some review that u can lock the turbo to the max speed allowed, thats only thing those boards allow, not?! Anyways, Ryzen is a good CPU but I don´t recomend him that, u need a good RAM and they are tooo expensive, 200$ for a good 16GB naaa... isn´t in his budget and as personal experience with 2600 (non X) can´t even handle 4.1GHz stable, well Im very disapointed so, atleast myself, wouldn´t recomend him it, but if u have prove that a 2600X is worth it, just tell me. He plays alote, like alote BF Series and GTA V (Open World games) Since I had alote trouble on BF1 and BF5 with 20 or more fps against i5 8500 I did recomend him a i5 8600 but wasn´t "knowing" that U need a Z board.... sucks! Atleast get all cores to 4.3GHz that would be great!
  10. Hey guys, It is possible to change for example the i5 8600 (non K) to get a Turbo on all cores to 4.4GHz (example since its a very low OC) with a H370 board? I this case its a Asus ROG Strix H370-I Gaming (WOULD allow him a little change to turbo boost all cores?) He has a very low budget but he can get that Build (Combo promotion) for 310$. What u think, its worth for gaming (for him)?
  11. Do not know bro... how to I know that? plz https://www.cybenetics.com/index.php?option=gpus&manfID=77
  12. Well I know I can´t see them but still I love the feeling of more fps and futuremore I gona upgrade to a 144Hz anyways... BTW is this accurate? https://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Ryzen-5-2600-takes-on-the-Intel-Core-i5-8600K-in-first-benchmarks.299388.0.html Because almost 0 diference to i5 8600.... and on youtube u see massive 20 or 30 fps!
  13. Yes I did. Its with a 168MHz more on Core and 800MHz on Memory. Futuremark are all great scores aswell I have Furmark 9750 score... P1080
  14. PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus 80+ 550W CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with Coolermaster 120 (Watercooler) Board: MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC RAM: GSKill 2x 8GB DDR4 3000MHz CL16 GPU: MSI RTX 2070 ARMOR OC SSD: NVMe EVO 970 1TB
  15. GSKill 2x 8GB DDR4 2933 (3000MHz) CL16 Well ur CPU is pretty better then mine that gives u alote more frames... and ye If the CPU is causing this, I would go for a i5 8600K with a Z370 board if it pays out having atleast 15 more FPS... would spend about 100€ more selling my ryzen and board!
