  1. I want to say you're looking for some kind of "multiplexer" but... what's your source input signal? If the source input signal doesn't already include separate audio channels, whatever you feed it into won't be able to do much with the signal...
  2. Could install a VPN then route the apps through that, or just block the apps from network access in your device settings, if your device allows this.
  3. In order to help, we must first know the details about the problem. All I can see right now is what appears to be some kind of BIOS screen.
  4. This doesn't confirm Steam is using "Disk 0" though - I'd confirm what processes are updating what directories using Windows Resource Monitor. https://clientarea.mochahost.com/knowledgebase/764/Monitor-disk-IO-activities-in-Windows-with-Resource-Monitor.html If that's your backup drive, for all we know it could be running a backup at the same time Baldur's Gate is updating on your other drive.
  5. As someone who finally splurged for a wireless headset last holiday season, I can say I'm mostly happy with the price to quality of the G733 headset, if you can snag it for 20-30% off MSRP in your country. Feel free to ask questions if you have any.
  6. Pretty much this. If you have a laptop, you can bring it to plug the webcam in and test.
  7. Any client modifications are against Discord's Terms of Service, so your only legally above-board method to resolve this is waiting for Discord to push an update that resolves the problem. That said, sometimes I've had an outdated graphics driver or even missing Windows update cause the Overlay to stop working, so you may try to update those things to see if that fixes the problem.
  8. You may be able to lookup the part number for the barrel jack of your laptop by entering your serial number on this site. https://www.sourceitstore.ca/acer-part-finder/
  9. While I don't know what country your companies operate in, you cannot legally have a customer sign away their rights if they're protected by Federal, Provincial/State, or Municipal law. Just because someone signs away their rights to live when purchasing an Alpine Ski/Snowboard lift ticket doesn't automagically absolve the Alpine Mountain owners of implementing bare minimum safety standards. Just because I sign a piece of paper saying you can shoot me does not absolve you of murder. Same goes for protecting Personally Identifiable Information in jurisdictions where Privacy Laws exist.
  10. External drives should be detected by most any computer these days, however the format of the drive may hinder a given device's ability to read the drive's contents. We'd need a lot more information to even begin speculating what's up with your situation here, like... How was this drive originally used? (with a computer? with a proprietary cable box PVR system? etc.) What kind of drive is it? (USB? eSATA? Firewire? supply the make and model, or take clear photos.) Once we know more information, we can maybe suggest things to try, such as connecting the drive to a PC running Linux or checking if it appears in Windows Disk Management but just happens to be missing a drive letter.
  11. These days there's little reason to pay more for a Windows 11 Pro license unless you already know you need extra features. You can compare the features between Windows 11 Home vs Pro on Microsoft's website, and Windows 10 Home vs Pro on HowToGeek's website. https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows/compare-windows-11-home-vs-pro-versions https://www.howtogeek.com/871831/windows-10-home-vs-pro/
  12. Can confirm; I moved from Windows 10 to Windows 11 when I built a new PC in Fall 2022. Like anything new, it's had its growing pains but is fairly decent, especially after the latest major Fall 2023 update. And I have yet to knock on wood have it Blue Screen of Death on this new hardware, too.
  13. What is the exact make and model of ethernet switch and router? And does bypassing the switch and router by connecting your PC directly to the modem result in 1000mbps (Gigabit) negotiation speeds?
  14. You ask the previous owner to sign in and remove the activation lock. For all we know, you bought an already stolen tablet, thus we cannot help.
  15. Someone with too much time on their hands.
  16. You contact Samsung asking for rights to access all of the phone you purchased, or search XDA-Developers forums... however, it appears that @OhioYJ may be correct here that your particular model may not be unlockable, which means you don't truly actually "own" the device, even if you've paid for it. https://xdaforums.com/t/root-galaxy-s9-and-s9-official-stock-8-0-magisk-official.3843098/ https://xdaforums.com/t/flashing-custom-rom-on-canadian-variant-of-s9.4144837/
  17. Never used their products, but have always wondered how much closer to writing on paper their screen protectors would make writing on tablets. Feeling like I'm writing awkwardly / unnaturally on computer screens is a major reason why I've never been able to switch from paper to electronic handwritten notes, so I'd love to see LMG do a thorough review of their products before / if taking them on as a sponsor. Perhaps Mac Address could cover their products from a subjective approach, and LTT could cover their products from an objective approach?
  18. This is a hardware limitation. If you need faster speeds than your current hardware can offer, it's time to upgrade to something faster.
  19. Looks like they switched to a wizard that modifies a clean Windows 10 or 11 ISO image based on YAML configuration files you supply the wizard. https://ameliorated.io/ https://docs.ameliorated.io/index.html
  20. You could try plugging in a USB-C to USB-A adapter, followed by a USB mouse, then see if it'll let you use that as touch input. Some Android devices require you manually approve the connection of a USB device for security reasons though, so you might need to use the touchscreen to do this first...
  21. Although this forum thread isn't for the exact same model of card, the same logic might apply to your card. https://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=1819549&mpage=1 If you can't find a legitimate BIOS ROM file online, your next best option is to contact EVGA for an official file.
  22. Hear that manufacturer's? Even kids know your anti-repair non-standardized practices are garbage. Do better.
  23. Only you can answer that, depending on your use-case, budget, and price of the iPad you're looking to acquire.
  24. Given that Apple tends to support their mobile devices for around 6-7 years on average, you'll likely receive updates for that long too. https://iosref.com/ios#ipad
  25. All available software for the Sony Handycam HC30 is available on Sony's official website. https://www.sony.ca/en/electronics/support/product/dcr-hc30/downloads Whether or not they support modern Operating Systems with a 10+ year old camera is another story.
