  1. Here is the cable for the nerdom (best picture I could take of it).
  2. Thanks, I think this is the only time I've ever seen it myself. I just found the cable too!
  3. I would recommend the Logitech G703.
  4. I have a MELE F10 air mouse and I can't find the cable for it. I think it may use a legacy connector but I'm not sure which one. It's not the old micro connector, it's about the size of a mini usb.
  5. A small screw driver got them out, thanks a lot! Now I have a fully working system.
  6. It's easy when you know how, thanks. Spoke too soon, paperclip won't do anything if it's just rounded inside.
  7. I connected the speakers to the banana plugs. But now I have another problem. The instructions for the hi-fi only talk about bare wires, but I went and bought banana plugs on both ends. I really don't want to have to cut them off after paying for them. ? The hi-fi I have is an Onkyo CR-515DAB. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/115268/Onkyo-Cr-315dab.html?page=18#manual Is it ok to connect the banana plugs to terminals like this? I connected them anyway. They sound good on CD so maybe it's an ok arrangement. The connectors are just touching the metal on the terminals.
  8. I have some Q Acoustics 1020i with dual inputs on the back. But they have these little wires between them and I don't know what they do. I'm only planning to connect 2 speakers from the amplifier. I'm guessing I just put my speaker cables in and leave them where they are?
  9. I just bought a £80 phone as a backup which is about $154 CAD and it's a Moto E5 Play. It's a good phone for the money but it only has a Geekbench score of around 650. It looks great but it is quite slow, picture taking is limited and the touch screen is quite unresponsive. I got it mainly as a second backup phone. But if you want a really good phone they don't really start until about £190 ($330 CAD) new. I've done a full market analysis of price vs specifications. I have about 120 phones on the list and there isn't much below that price point: LG G Flex 2 is about £130 and has a score of around 1177 which is good value £145 will get you an Xperia ZA1 with a geekbench score of around 854 For £190 the spec will be far superior and you will get a Geekbench score of around 1500+. Phones at this price point include: Honor 8x, Honor Play, Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, Huawei Honor 10 Lite. The Chinese manufacturers offer a very high spec for the money. Of course it's not all about the benchmarks. The cameras, ram, storage, screen capability, main body materials, and whether you just like the look of the phone are also very important. On the S7 that is a good phone if you can get it and it's upgradable to Android 8.0 so no big deal there. It has a Geek Bench score of around 1812 which is excellent.
  10. Is it just me or is it impossible to find a mobile phone case which doesn't cover up all the buttons with rock hard plastic? There are so many nice cases but all of them make the buttons totally unusable. Have you found any brands which provide proper access to buttons? I'm moving to an Honor 8X at the moment and the only cases which seem to provide proper button access are "Happy L" (looks awful) or wooden cases like "Roseflower". All others cover up the buttons. I wouldn't mind if the material was super soft as they describe but it never seems to be. Thanks for reading.
