  1. Stock intel cooler.. Try to see if you can spend a little more to get a better cooling system. Or I suppose use the stock until you are able to get everything and check temps afterwards.
  2. You can reuse those unless you need more storage. you can even just keep them and add the new ones and you'll use all your bays

  4. I don't know too much about AMD products so I can't comment on the cpu/mobo comob. Though I do it see it often enough to say it's not bad. I would personally opt for a better SSD, space wise. but it just depends on how many vital programs you will be running. Looks like a solid build though. Don't expect to see those mail in rebates for MONTHS, just a heads up. In the future I would also opt for a more reliable mouse/keyboard. I'm just picky though, those will work.
  5. Pretty average price for a 1080 144Hz monitor. If you do a bit more shopping you might be able to find one with 144Hz/1ms isntead of that 144Hz/4ms The 3ms difference only matters if you're like REALLY into competitive gaming. Good monitor though.
  6. You must go broke every winter with the sales and Black Friday/Cyber Monday
  7. Fractal Design does have some of the best airflow!
  8. I'm here 3 months later waiting on a $20 MIR lol
  9. for sure! If you end up modding anything on it, do you mind showing me? i'd love to see it!
  10. A 1070ti overclocked is about the same as a base 1080, but the 1080 can also be overclocked.
  11. If you don't mind used, Ebay is your friend, although a 1070ti isn't too expensive at the moment.
  12. Just remember the old saying! "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is"
  13. I'd do it but I currently don't have the space to do anything fun like that (apartment) I'd love to try things like plasti-dipping or case modding for air intakes and such. Just look at what this guy did
  14. Dude lol, I just took a better look at this thing and these are all the models they have it listed as: 1060 3g 1060 6g 750ti 650 "GM107" 970m 1050 with 7gb
  15. It's one of those Chinese looking knock offs. Bitwit and Linus have dealt with these before and they do not perform very well at all. Cheaply made, horrible booting (won't allow the PC to post or anything) and so on. Stay away!
  16. I mean, heck why not! If anything, maybe just go through the hassle of returning it and paying shipping? That or it could become a project case. ie; paint jobs, case mods, etc.
  17. Me reading the title only: UHH ONLY A F**K TON *opens and see Linus video* oh ok
  18. If my memory serves me correctly, I think the A2 code is when your mobo doesn't know where to boot from. Is this a new build? Make sure to spam into your BIOS and set up your boot priorities and get your OS installed afterward. If that doesn't work at all, just keep us posted on the situation, no pun intended.
  19. Now I know to never take you to any store XD
  20. No biggie, it just helps everyone else help you out more. More information gives more answers and makes people want to provide an answer when they know what to look for. I hope you find what you're looking for =]
  21. We'd appreciate some more information or something
  22. Honestly, they don't make too much of a difference. One will get better cooling which will let you get a slightly higher OC, but it's nothing too big to worry about.
