  1. I'd save on the mobo and buy a b450 tomahawk, it's abt 100$ less and supports 3rd gen ryzen. Buy the 1660ti Since the RTX series are still in an infant state and also an expensive one, the rx5700 has problems with gen4 from what i've seen so wait til amd fixes it. The RAM frequency speeds are good if you go for the x570 but if you go for a b450 due to budget reasons u better go for a 3200 one Pick up the 650w PSU, gen4 mobos seem to suck a lot of juice.
  2. I'll probably wait for AMD to fix the drivers for the RX5700
  3. that's a problem since i already bought the b450 tomahawk weeks prior cause it was on discount
  4. alright. by the way, i've seen some PSAs on some old mobos having problems with the new ryzen cpus, what gives?
  5. I had a prior experience with buying used GPUs and it didn't end well. I also don't use credit card or paypal since i can't access my bank account yet
  6. there was a r570 nitro 4gb on sale aswell but it ran out of stock sadly
  7. Title. My tech store has an end of stock discount for the GTX 1060 3gb pricing it at 170€ and the R5 2600 is at 160€. I've got a GTX960 2GB OC. I was thinking in buying the 3600 and use it on the b450 tomahawk i've bought at a discount aswell since it's new gen and such but doing that would mean i'd have to save money for the gpu for later. Some help deciding would be nice. My current specs: FX6300 3.5ghz Asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0 quad channel 16GB CL9 1600mhz DDR3 MSI GTX960 2GB OC edition Specs after upgrading Ryzen 5 3600 MSI B450 Tomahawk MSI GTX 960 2gb OC edition (or GTX 1060 3gb OC if i buy the 2600) Dual channel CL16 3200mhz DDR4 Now my concerns are, my system has been having some issues with games lately where its performance is unstable. Games like R6 siege can go from 60 fps all low settings to 20 FPS all low when benchmarking, I'm not sure if it's a MoBo VRM that's about to pop or if it's the GPU that is drawing the last breath
  8. it's not cause of stuttering, i can play the game fine for hours on end at 60 fps. the frame drop just happens randomly and those same drops stay constant. i'll reinstall the driver either way
  9. you clearly didn't understand... unplug ur gpu off the mobo and clean it
  10. here's the dxdiag with specs, as for the temps i get 40c with the cpu and 60 with gpu ram channel is dual DxDiag.txt
  11. reseat the gpu and clean both gpu and pci-e contacts also check if the disk is properly plugged to the power
