  1. as long as they didnt throw you a Non-overclockable motherboard at you. yes you should be able to overclock just fine. Do you know what Model Motherboard it is?. Z75,Z77, B75... etc. u could probably get 4-4.2ghz easily just with playing with the multiplyer if you dont feel like overvolting it at all. well like i said it's a pre-built pc by HP... so the motherboard is called "PEGATRON CORPORATION 2AD5" i really have no idea what that is... also i was playing with the thought to upgrade a few things. i kinda bought this pc, cuz i really liked the case ( yes i know dumb reason) plus it is fast etc etc
  2. I was just curious to know, which GPU was better. I have an iMac with a 660M and a pc with a HD 7770. i would also like to know, by how much the 660M is inferior to the 660/ 660 ti
  3. Alright firstly i am very new to overclocking, so i was wondering if i should overclock my Laptop asus g53 which has a intel core i7 - 740QM @ 1.7GHZ. what do i need to take into consideration? in case i will overclock it i will only do it a tiny bit. Next i have a PC that has currently got an Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.5 GHZ i would like to upgrade it up to 4.0GHZ or 3.8GHZ. should i do it? My PC has liquid cooling, if that means anything. PS. what exactly is the difference to have a good motherboard over one that comes with a normal finished PC from lets say NCIX or Best Buy.. Please help me out if you can,
  4. thanks a lot. i will buy the geforce 660 ti then :)
  5. i am currently using an AMD HD 7770 and i am thinking of upgrading to either an geforce 660 or 670, however i do not know which one to get. is the performance of the 670 significantly better and if yes is it worth that extra money? i am trying to get a card that will be worth the money in the long-run. thank you
