It's $250, $30 bucks more than the cheapest 1660 cards. Is is worth the extra $30? I really like the design of this card but what about the cooling improvements?
That machine is worth about $350 right now, so throw in a mid tier graphics card and sell for about $500+.
For your new machine you should paint that card yellow, it would look really nice.
Things on my end are actually pretty stable, but for my brother, he is the furthest from the router and he constantly drops out, I can try to run Ethernet throughout the house.
Our speeds are fine but the consistency is not, I just want 100 Mb/s and a stable connection across my house. My younger brother has tons of dropouts and lag spikes because he is the furthest from our modem and router.
Our internet has been pretty bad as of late, from dropping out sometimes to not working on certain devices and I was wondering if there is anyway we can get a solid connection with a phone jack.
I think we worry too much about bottlenecking, you have a 1700 which is an 8-core overclockable possessor that runs at 3.00 GHz stock and you are worried about a mid-high tier graphics card bottlenecking it?
Short answer is no it will not.
Am I the only one rocking a Corsair mouse? I have the M65 Pro RGB, it's pretty cheap, feels nice but comes pretty heavy. The weights are adjustable though. I just prefer mine heavier.
