  1. oh yeah i figured out what happened, it killed my psu. it probablu short circuted or something idk
  2. I also took out the strip and checked the boot drive to make sure no cables came loose
  3. I plugged the strip into a sata power cable and the pc stopped booting. I can see a red light and blue light turn on for a few seconds on the mobo and the cpu heat sink fans start up for a moment. Any solitions?
  4. whenever I hit the power button a red light and blue light turn on on the mobo and the cpu heat sink fans begin to spin, but nothing after that.
  5. i just installed an rgb strip into my pc and it won’t boot. it was working perfectly fine before. I just placed the strip and placed a sata power cable into the connector to power it. any solutions?
  6. what do you mean? couldn't I just hit full screen on the window to make it fit?
  7. like I said in the original post, would it be worth it to play at 1080p/1440p and still take advantage of the extra screen real estate of the 4K monitor?
  8. Hey there! I'm going to be upgrading my monitor within the next few weeks along with my gpu and I honestly have no idea which resolution would be ideal. My current options are UW 1080p at 29 inches, 1080p144hz (with FreeSync) at 24 inches, 1440p at 25 inches and 4K at 27 inches. If I were to get the 4K monitor, I'd more than likely play at 1080p or 1440p so I can still play at higher settings with 60fps. I play mostly open world games with the occasional FPS with friends, though I mostly play casually. My new gpu will more than likely be an RX 580 unless there's a decent sale for the 1070.
