  1. I don't need to be running quad channel for XMP to work do I? Also does slot assignment matter? I'm using A1 and C1 cause I thought B1 was dead but I don't think it is but haven't tested it yet. Thanks
  2. I tried those timings and they didn't work I guess I will have to keep trying.
  3. Thank you so much will try that. Also discovering I didn't win the silicon lottery at all cause I tried 4.4Ghz at 1.40 and it couldn't finish a Cinebench run but I hear people getting 4.2 at 1.250 with this CPU.
  4. So I'm not looking for anything crazy I just want XMP 2.0 running stable. I enable the Intel XMP 2.0 Profile and It won't boot till the third try but then I do get 3200Mhz in Windows. I went to look at Voltages but I apparently don't have full options. I've tried a few small voltage changes and cas changes but I know very little about RAM in these terms. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HKV2w6 That is my setup. Any ideas would be appreciated.
  5. So I'll just give you my pointless overkill plan. Okay so I have a D15 but I'm upgrading to an AIO cooler for space and other reasons. Now currently I have 8 case fans all plugged into a fan controller in addition to the 2 CPU cooler fans. The new AIO is gonna have 3 fans and instead of just switching those stock fans for my Noctuas I'm just gonna be dumb and add them to a push pull design. So I wanted the AIO fans (6 of them) to be controlled bye the same thing but my fan controller only has 2 slots left 5 slots with splitters so 10 fans. Adding the 3 stock ones from the AIO puts me at 11. Like I said adding the 3 extra instead of swapping out is pointless but then I wouldn't be able to boast about my 11 pointless fans.
  6. I have a question about fan headers. I own an ASRock - Fatal1ty X99X Killer ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard. It has 2 CPU Fan Headers. What I wanna do is put 3 of these fans on one header? (I need the other header) Noctua - NF-F12 industrialPPC-3000 PWM 109.89 CFM 120mm Fan I basically wanna know if one of those headers can support 3 of these fans. Edit: Thanks for any replies.
  7. I wasn't sure where to put this question. I have an iMac from late 2013 and I need to know if I can use it only as a monitor for my PC. My monitor is on its way out and if it dies on the sudden this is the only other thing I have that I could use. This is the GPU I have https://pcpartpicker.com/product/bNcMnQ/evga-video-card-08gp46286 Any help is appreciated.
  8. I ended up going with Anker but I went with this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079RC1MNV/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 cause I didn't think the other one would fit on the back with my case.
  9. I only knew of the power bank and not much honestly like 30 bucks. I was just wondering what something would cost to get an idea.
  10. I'm looking for an extra battery pack for my iPhone Anyone know a good one. I'm going to a convention and I wanna make sure I never run out of battery life.
  11. I have both RAM sticks installed but only one is recognized.I think there might be a bad RAM slot.
  12. So I need some serious help. Does anyone know if the Intel(R) Management Engine Interface not working would have something to do with post code error 6F on my ASRock mobo? Sometimes my computer will boot for like 30 seconds and then shutdown and I get the post code 6F. I've read it sounds memory related. In the Intel(R) Management properties it says Device Power Failure.
  13. One other quick thing I'm reinstalling Windows on the 960 should I let the Windows installer handle wiping it or should I do it?
