Because Overclocking my CPU isn't mandatory. I'm not having performance issues with anything. it is running more than smoothly. why would i touch something that has no issues nor needs any tweaking?

how is that terrible. it is in line with benchmarks from other 2700X's. I have looked at their scores as well. I'm in line. also, consider the fact that I'm not overclocking my CPU. its still sitting at the base 3.7GHz

Just looked through everything and my CPU is being OC'd normally. no abnormalities. looked in HWInfo as well as stressing it in CPU-Z https://drive.google.com/file/d/16kPTdpCXUTy4tWekBY8Pa4FmZHEjyqiI/view?usp=sharing and it isnt a thermal limitation

So currently I've got a pretty kickass system: Ryzen 7 2700X Nvidia GTX 1080 w/ MSI Armor 16gb ADATA XPG Z1 3000MHz Ram 4TB WD HDD 240gb SSD Gigabyte GA-AX370 Gaming Motherboard And there are absolutely no issues with it. I was just looking into getting a larger faster kit of RAM. Let's say G.SKILL TridentZ Series ddr4 3200MHz RAM. and then in the description, it says: "Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory Module". Now, being that I have an AMD processor I'm not quite sure if that's a warning as to "don't use this with AMD" or if it works better with Intel. Could someone just clarify it for me? Much appreciated. Regards, CrypticSnow
