  1. Have you run the system? If so, does it get detected? Can you access it? If so, you should be fine. Hit the like on this if it works out, thats how I'll know.
  2. Which companies make OLED panels? I know that only certain companies can manufacture them and they're sold to other display manufacturers who use them in their products. So which companies make the actual OLED panels? I know LG, Sony, and Samsung do, but who else?
  3. First of all, it's AMD ThreadripperTM 2990WX. I think most of your usecases are heavily multi-threaded. So I think the 2990WX is for you, but you should probably wait some time after the launch to see the state of firmware and software. Oh, and if youre asking if the price difference is worth it: https://wccftech.com/amd-threadripper-2990wx-5-1-ghz-oc-cinebench-world-record/
  4. TESLA announcement suggests that it will unveil a brand-new car next week at Grand Basel next week. Carmaker could launch Model Y, Pickup truck or next-generation Roadster. Tesla could be unveiling a brand-new car next week at the Grand Basel car show. The carmaker is planning on showcasing a ‘surprise’ on September 5th, which could be a never before seen vehicle. Currently, the carmaker has stated that it is working on the next-generation Roadster and is also planning on launching the Model Y and Pickup truck, meaning any of these vehicles could be revealed. However, the most likely car to launch is the Roadster, giving the nature of the Basel show. 5. get the cheapest ryzen 5 (even first gen) and get a 1060 6GB, if not a 1050Ti 4GB, as a heck load of games need at least 4GB of vram, so dont get a 1060 3GB in my opinion.
  6. This is why I stay with Windows 7 As for your question, I believe its something like full screen applications overriding windows controls. (though I may be wrong, but feel free to let me know if I am)
  7. I' say get something from Corsair or coolermaster. Razer is quite a bit overpriced.
  8. I dont think this will work, as USB 3.0 speeds and latency are much slower than thunderbolt 3. Besides, USB wont support all the functions that thunderbolt does anyways.
  9. BTW Why do you have a 1060? It's heavily bottlenecking your cpu. You should get at least a 1080 to get the best out of it.
  10. Same happens to me when I turn the monitor on AFTER hitting power button. Try first turning your monitor on, then hit your systems power button.
  11. Prebuilt PCs come with PSUs that provide just a little more than max system load, so no, you'll also need a new psu
  12. That's a really good impression! If only we could get you a better mic...
  13. Title Says it all. For me it's this guy:
  14. For CPU cooler the Noctua NHL9i: https://noctua.at/en/nh-l9i Everything else seems fine but check for parts' compatibility on pcpartspicker. (Also when travelling dont let the PC be in cargo or something. HDDs dont like movement or vibration.
  15. Yes, and for old phones, an old connecter. My old Sony Ericsson U1i Satio has an old interface, so USB 2.0 speeds are what I deal with when I transfer photos to my PC. But old/cheap (and SD cards in general) are usually very slow considering they use NAND flash. The random reads/writes needed for small files are just something SD cards' memory controllers aren't good at. BTW an unrelated but nice video:
  16. First close all GPU control/monitoring apps other than MSI afterburner (as having multiple apps control/monitor GPU voltage etc is dangerous). Then in MSI afterburner try resetting all settings to default.
