  1. Well, not much to say really. Source: Daimler Testing of the Mercedes-Benz EQC "German carmaker Mercedes-Benz will unveil an all-electric vehicle (EV) at a launch event in Stockholm, Sweden, on Tuesday. The EQC is a battery electric vehicle and the first model from Daimler-owned Mercedes' new product and technology brand, EQ. It will be released on the market in 2019. The vehicle has undergone winter testing followed by summer trials in the heat of Spain. The car's unveiling is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. local time (12:30 p.m. ET). Mercedes' launch of the EQC is the latest attempt by more established, traditional carmakers to challenge the dominance of Elon Musk's Tesla. On Monday, Audi began mass production of its e-tron, the brand's first totally electric sport utility vehicle (SUV). That car will be officially unveiled in San Francisco on September 17. A number of major businesses have invested in the EV sector recently. Earlier this summer, oil giant BP entered into an agreement to purchase EV charging business Chargemaster. And, in early August, global energy and services business Centrica made a "multi-million pound" investment in Israeli start-up Driivz, which specializes in end-to-end software solutions for electric EV charging." 2. This guy has no idea how many wallets hate him... Apple’s £999 iPhone X is ‘enormously UNDERPRICED’, says Warren Buffet In a new interview, the World's third richest man said Apple could easily get away with charging a lot more for its indispensable gadget, which Buffet values more than his private jet. Warren Buffet owns around $56billion (£43billion) in Apple shares Well, we have good news Mr. Buffet – Apple could well ratchet up the cost of its newiPhone XS as it releases a separate budget device for everyone who doesn't want to drop a grand on a smartphone. The trillion-dollar company will unveil its trio of new smartphones on September 12. Apple had the four best-selling phones in the world at the start of this year, with the iPhone X at the top of the heap, according to analysts Buffet, whose net worth is an estimated $86.7billion (£67.2billion), is the second-largest stockholder in the tech giant through his holding company Berkshire Hathaway, which also owns stakes in Heinz, Coca-Cola and American Express. Therefore it's no wonder he wants Apple to charge more for its best-selling product. Source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tech/7161650/apple-iphone-underpriced-warren-buffet/
  3. Thanks to Everyone who read, reacted, and replied on this. It means a lot to me as I've only been here for a week. Once again, thank you. :-)
  4. This is so overdue... " Tech support scams are a problem on the internet, and Google is trying to stop people from getting tangled in them through their ads. It's decided to restrict ads by third-party technical support providers, as well as making these businesses verify themselves. "As the fraudulent activity takes place off our platform, it’s increasingly difficult to separate the bad actors from the legitimate providers," reads a postby Google's director of global product policy, David Graff, on Friday. "That's why in the coming months, we will roll out a verification program to ensure that only legitimate providers of third-party tech support can use our platform to reach consumers." The announcement comes following a Wall Street Journal investigation on these scams. It included a particularly bad ad purporting to be from Apple, which appeared when one searched for the terms "apple tech support" on Google. In this case, the ad showed a URL for Apple's official website, but also displayed and linked to a phone number belonging to a tech support scammer." 5. I never really liked AMD but let's be honest here, Intel DESERVES this. If NVidia keeps advancing down this route, pretty soon...
  6. Finally Amd has more sales than Intel. It's good that our blue teams getting competition. I quote: eTailer Claims 2nd Gen Ryzen Vaulted AMD over Intel in CPU sales again AMD is on a roll with its Zen architecture, and especially its second generation Ryzen processor family for the mainstream market. Buyers now have competitive solutions from both AMD and Intel at practically every price point. That hasn't always been the case before Ryzen—AMD wasn't really competing at the higher end of the performance spectrum—but it is now, and it's paying off. Evidence of this can be found at a German retailer's breakdown of CPU sales. Every so often, Mindfactory puts out a bunch of graphs and sales data comparing CPU sales from AMD and Intel processors. Over the course of the year, AMD has been catching up with Intel at that specific retailer, having grabbed 45 percent of CPU sales in June and nudging up to 50 percent in July. Now AMD has overtaken Intel. Reddit user ingebor plotted out Mindfactory's sales data over the past year, as shown above. You can see that AMD has been closing the gap over the past several months, reaching sales parity with Intel and, finally, nudging slightly ahead. Of course, we don't want to make a mountain of a mole hill here. What you're looking at above is the sales data from a single retailer, that's the first thing. Secondly, the graphs depicts the number of CPUs sold, not revenue. Nevertheless, it's an interesting snapshot of the difference that AMD's second generation Ryzen processors have made. If we look at sales revenue, Intel still maintains a lead over AMD. Intel's chips contribute 56 of Mindfactory's CPU sales revenue, versus 44 percent for AMD. The two chipmakers actually swapped places from a year ago, when AMD generated more CPU revenue for the retailer than Intel did. That's due in part to the average selling price (ASP) being higher for certain Intel processors. No matter how you slice it, though, AMD's second generation Ryzen lineup (shown as Pinnacle Ridge in the above chart) is a success. Again, this is but a single retailer in Germany. However, that is not the only place where AMD's second generation CPUs are selling well. We looked up the best selling CPUs on Amazon's US website, and the Ryzen 5 2600 holds the No. 2 spot. Other notable entries include AMD's Ryzen 7 2700X (No. 4), Ryzen 5 1600 (No. 6, first-gen part), Ryzen 3 2200G (No. 8), and Ryzen 5 2600X (No. 11). Intel's Core i7-8700K is the No. 1 selling CPU on Amazon, and obviously Intel is well represented in the top 10 (and beyond). However, the it's certainly not lopsided. The top 10 best selling CPUs on Amazon are equally split between AMD and Intel. Source: https://hothardware.com/news/etailer-2nd-gen-ryzen-vaulted-amd-over-intel-cpu-sales-again

  17. Then what I mentioned is right; always install M.2 SSDs with sticker facing up. PS mark my answer as solution so everyone else knows. It could also help someone else with the same doubt as you.
  18. You cant put it in with the sticker up?

  20. Geez, I just saved you from a dead mobo. I Quote: "Card top (with brand logo and UPC barcode data) face up, bottom face down, as you insert it into the tray/laptop placed upside down on the table with the bottom cover removed. Single notch (for NVMe) or double notch (for SATA) connector end of the card oriented north from you, and screwhole to tighten it down is at the south end of the card. If the card is NVMe, with the proper card orientation the single notch in the gold connectors will be on the right. Here's an NVMe card installed in my P70. I can't imagine how even with the P50 and its tray (the P70 does not have a tray, and has a single plastic tongue that fits into the single notch of the NVMe card design) it could be physically possible to incorrectly install the card upside down. I guess the SATA card's double-notch causes confusion."
