MilkyWhite is right. The error in the marketing material was not corrected immediately, just until now. This is false advertisement. Issue or not, it is false advertisement by definition.

What an utterly humiliating prospect for people to defend the ones who deceived them. I'm certainly considering a GTX 970 refund, thankfully this came just in time for me to pick up an R9 380X from the red team.

Well I am glad to see the truth coming out.  As for what consumers should get well if they want a refund on the card they should be able to get it.  What about consumer watch dogs out there?  Better Business Bureau and so on what would they think?

The camera company, Kodak, has revealed its plans to launch an Android smartphone at CES 2015 which is going to happen next month.
It is part of the company strategy to survive.

It has been two years since Kodak filed for bankruptcy and has now step out of manufacturing camera and camera films.
It has sold and license a great deal of its patent to stay afloat, and now it will start by making smartphones.
The big focus on the device will be the camera, and it is software. A smart move from the company, as this is their expertise, and not just make cheap Android phones and just be "just another Android phone, with nothing special".
The company says, that it will have "best-in-class image management software and features".
The manufacturing of the phone will be made by a U.K based company: UK's Bullitt Group, known for their CAT B15 Rugged.
Kodak adds that they expect a release in the second half of 2015, with its 4G model.

I wonder, assuming that the phone is spectacularly good, and decently priced for what it gives you. Will you be interesting in buying it? Or because it has the Kodak name, you will be repulsed from buying it?

SLI 980's would have been better for the money thrown at it, but at the same time they built it themselves (or attempting to) instead of depending on a friend slamming them on a forum to strangers. If I were your friend and read this randomly knowing the OP was a friend of mine, I'd dock some trust points off. Let your friend try and learn things, not depend on someone belittling them on the internet in the form of public humiliation.

Come on people, 2x GTX680 to 1x 970 most definatly is a downgrade and quite a significant one too. The CPU is more of a sidegrade, only the cooler is nicish if you like AIO's I guess.

Dual GTX 680's are definitely faster than a single 970. At least in games with decent SLI support.

I am still waiting.

Dirt cheap. Fits most things. Comes with a single decent and very quiet fan that's better than any other fan from the cases on this list.

some of you might wonder if it is even possible to change the color of the illuminating logo on your Geforce GTX card.
Well you can and it's actualy very easy.
I already posted the pictures on my build log so i hope you don't mind i post them again here just to document this.



So the first thing you need to do is taking of the top shroud. You don't need to take of the entire heatsink.



This is how far you need to take it all of. The only thing you need is an alan key and a small philips head screwdriver to disassemble the cooler.



Then you just press out the logo. It isn't glued in so it's push to remove.



This is the peace you need. 
Then take a light grain sanding paper and sand of the green paint. It's just a small layer of paint thats covering the letters.



You end up with this. A grey/white clearish rubber. If you use it like this the logo will ight up bright white.
After this you take some Light bulb paint in the color you would like your logo to light up.



For mine i chose the Motip Blue Light paint.
Let it dry a bit and then assemble the cooler again.
I always make myself a diagram where all the screws went :-p so i don't have any left when i finish :-)



And done ... you have a modded GTX card :-)
