  1. Dayum , i started following this thread yesterday evening, i've got 299 unread posts now...
  2. This might help: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=power+bank BTW: use LMG's referal link if you do buy something.
  3. So you can swap the tubing like on the swiftech H220? Is the pump strong enough to add a GPU? If so i would very much like a review. EDIT: is that a reservour in the Pump-Cpublock-combo-thing? Now i really want a review. EDIT2: They say its expandable so i guess that means gpu. And also their website has alot grammar errors.. Combined with the price im not so sure about its reliability. LINK
  4. So your problem is lack of problems? Thats new. Anyway you might want to make youre survey more specific, although asking about intrests on a tech forum, it might fix it self.
  5. first: stop trying to get the scratches out. At this point youre probably only making it worse. Also are there backups other then these disks? If not, REALLY stop grinding. Are you sure its the scratches that are the problem ? When was the last time those disks where used. because if its a while back, it might be disk rot. Before you go any further try to backup what ever you have currently, so that cant get lost. EDIT: You might want to follow this topic so that you get a notification when someone posts.
  6. Ooh yeah i forgot to post that i found the actual changelog topic .
  7. the differences between v1 and v2 where very small tweaks like moving the tube grommets up 3mm. I think its the same this time around, although im having trouble finding the exact changes. Thus far ive found that the only visible change is in the corner braces on the inside. http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=1041193018&highlight=v3+change#post1041193018 2nd edit: OP ,you might want to post some apealing pictures like this one:
  8. It absolutly was, severeal different times even. If it still is, is debatable but it definitely was. Also @OP check what youre paying for electricity and heating. Winter is coming(depending on where you live) and it might be profitable if you consider that al the electricity consumtion is going to heating your house. And if the price differance between your heating and electricity is small enough, that might make it profitable, if combined with the right coin.
  9. lol , everyone recommending gaming gpus when hes not doing anything GPU intesive. A 750TI with the appropriate connections would be plenty. If you already have al the other hardware id try to run it of the onboard GPU just to be sure.
  10. If i understood linus correctly the thing he discribed is being developed by a guy on [H]forum: Has the whole external psu too: EDIT: This might require some clarification, the one on the right has an external laptop-style PSU and an internal PCB that splits into al the neccesary connectors. The one on the left has a regular internal SFX psu. http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1799326
  11. i dont know that one. but for that price you might as well get this one : seasonic Seasonic G Series 550W http://www.jonnyguru.com review
  12. 550w is fine for that system. as long as its a good one.
  13. What do you mean exactly? something like this?
  14. Thats a bit of an exaggeration. A 280x will do 100+ fps on 2560 by 1600 on max. so with a couple of settings turned down (AA since you dont really need that at 4k anyway) it should be able to do 60 on 4k. Also: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/dota-2-performance-benchmark,3481-7.html http://www.techspot.com/review/785-free-to-play-games-benchmarks/page3.html EDIT: the 7970 was realeased in november of 2011 so almost 3 years old not 4.
  15. Dude... Look up disk rot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disc_rot CD/DVD are NOT safe at all. Personally i would go with multple hdd's in a safe cupboard where they wont get moved/touched/dropped alot. Or even better have them be in saperate locations.
