Hello, I tried to get wake on LAN working. First of all, I'll tell my problem: I got it working when my pc was in 'sleep' and hibernate mode but when I turn my pc completely off it doesn't work anymore. Here are the things that I've done to set it up. (I have a asus prime z370-a )in my network connection properties:- "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"- "allow this device to wake up the computer"-"only allow a magic packet to wake up the pc"
-" (under the advanced tab) wake on magic packet & wake on patern match" both to enabledIn power options:-"turn on fast startup" (unchecked so it's disabled)In bios:-"Enable Power On by PCIE"
-"Disabled fast boot"Some say you need to enable a feature "wake on LAN -> enabled" or something like that but I guess that option for me is the power on by PCIE, and that it differs from manufacturer to manufacturer how it's displayed in the bios. I don't know if that has to do something with it but I'm not planning on using it outside my house because another tutorial said I needed to forward some things in my router. I'm just planning on using it inside my house itself with my phone being the "remote" to startup my pc.
