  1. Sorry for reviving this old thread but I'm still stuck on this issue. I have been in contact with some of the mouse manufacturers. I didn't reach out to these yet. But I would like your opinion on these first: Does anyone have experience with Lioncast and/or endgame gear? (Currently looking at LM50 E-Sports Gaming and XM1r Gaming) Thank you.
  2. @fred82 I'm happy that I'm not alone with this frustration. @Skiiwee29 I thought the honeycomb design type was for weight reasons. Could you elaborate why honeycomb would be good? I don't have any experience with them. But with all the hard to reach gaps I figured they would get filthy quick. I will definitely check out all your suggestions. Thank you.
  3. Hi, I'm really frustrated with mice. I have a Logitech G403. Why does anyone in their right mind coat a device that you use with your hand with something that will bubble and rub of from a little sweat from your hands? The people at logitech couldn't even tell me if they have a mouse that doesn't have this issue. I also have a Cherry Gentix. The mouse is obviously worse but also cheaper than the logitech one. And has rubber on the side that will turn into goo in the span of a couple months. I do not sweat from my hands a whole lot. But I use my mouse extensively all day, every day. Now. I'm looking for a mouse that is durable. I don't want any coating or aid so I don't accidentally loose grip. No rubber pads. I don't need a lot of fancy stuff. No additional buttons. I like cabled mice. I can't be bothered with switching batteries. It should be an all around good mouse, should be usable in games, doesn't have to be a gaming mouse. I don't care for lighting, RGB or additional software. Bonus points for a braided cable. This stuff bugs me so much, I tried to build a wooden body for a mouse. Turns out I'm not a very good woodworker. If anyone has a suggestion or recommendation, I really appreciate it. Did I buy too cheap? Was I unlucky? Today I found out that the mice made by Ducky are not available. (at least here in Germany) I think 50 € or $ would be an ok price. But I'll pay more for a good product. Maybe not the 900€ that some wooden mice go for. (https://alestrukov.com/shop/tproduct/97166938-158396912355-aury) Thank you for reading and for your reply. Cheers.
  4. Hi, Thanks for reading. 1. Budget & Location I am based in Germany, I would be willing to spend 2000 € on my first gaming PC (Maybe 3000€ with a decent Monitor) but I don't want to go too much over the top. 2. Aim Gaming is the most demanding task do. Currently I am playing Borderlands 3. But I just want a system that can run current games reasonably well. 3. Monitors I am planning to get a monitor as well. I would like a wide display with 1440p and 144Hz. If you have a suggestion, I'd be thankful. 4. Peripherals I have a keyboard and a decent mouse. I will have to get Windows aswell. 5. Why are you upgrading? Here goes my story: I have a lenovo Laptop that I use for gaming (if you can call it that). I get 20 fps in Borderlands 3. My Laptop has seen better days. I am not satisfied with it. The powersupply died last year while I was writing my thesis. That completely broke my trust and our relationship. Before that the harddrive died. I replaced it with a too small SSD. (bigger ones were expensive back then and I didn't want to put more money into this laptop) I want to play with my friends without them complaining about my shitty setup. They also complain because all my mics are humming. (I tried multiple) Laptop: i7-3612QM 4core 2.1GHz 8GB RAM GeForce GT 740M Here is the link to mindfactory - https://www.mindfactory.de/shopping_cart.php/basket_action/load_basket_extern/id/6b23a12214ffa3151b03f741336db5a77a1d23bcf08c20859b3 ASRock B450M Steel Legend AMD B450 So.AM4 Dual Channel DDR4 mATX Retail € 89,05 16GB G.Skill Trident Z silber/rot DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit € 85,97* AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6x 3.60GHz So.AM4 BOX € 187,90* 8GB Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070SUPER Windforce OC (3xDP/HDMI) € 548,26* 650 Watt be quiet! Do you think this would be enough to run it? I appreciate your tips and recommendations. Here are my thoughts on the system: case - I wanted good airflow for cooling cpu - I think this one is decent. Not sure if I need more. gpu - I'm not sure if this is over the top. But I'm suffering from my 740M mainboard - I don't want multiple GPUs and I don't want to overclock. So I figured mATX is ok. Other than that I went with a recommendation from a youtuber. I want to try the CPU cooler and ad a better one if needed. Maybe bequiet. I love the looks of the dark rock pro 4. But I think thats a lot of cooling for this CPU. Thank you for reading. And thanks for answering.
  5. I'm not completely firm on that part jet. I'm still in the phase of making lists of components that might (or might not) fit together. My thought process was that I could save some money on cpu and mainboard. Buying an unlocked CPU and not overclocking feels like a waste to me. And I'm not sure if I need it/ it works out. I don't want to run into instabilities. I prefer to have a healty distance do that. I'm rambling about stuff I don't know enough about. sry
  6. Hi, I'm looking into building a gaming system. I don't want to overclock it. I have been looking into the i7-8700. On this Page: https://m.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html I found the ryzen 7 Pro 2700 ranked higher. But it's cheaper. Now I don't think Gaming could make use of the extra cores of the ryzen. I would spend about 2000 Euros for the System. (Maybe more) I want to avoid spending Money on unlocked cpus / extra cores / overclocking chipsets if I don't use it. Any advice /Better fitted cps for a noob? Thank you.
  7. Thanks for the fast replys. Sorry I didn't see this earlier. The idea behind this would be to minimize dust building up in your system. (as recomended by every person working on pcs) Thanks again for the tip with the silverstone case.
  8. Hi, I had the idea that one might be able to put an air filter from a car into a pc case. Besides it taking up more Space, I Think it might Work Better than using other fabric or the commonly used Filters. My question is if this would be problematic for air flow. I would Not Think so as the surface of These Filters is quite big compared to the Stock Filters you Can find in certain pc cases. I would be interested to hear your thoughts. A Quick Google Search showed that a pc Service guy does this. https://www.knfilters.com/mobile/blog/computer-case-manufacturer-uses-kn-air-filters-to-reduce-service-calls
