In a video Linus mentioned being offered this for the company. IIRC it was the CEO announcement video.

They did a massive disservice to Billet with their shoddy video on it. Then doubled down on it. And the way they have treated Billet since... that's a pretty big mistake.

no, its really clear that this is not intended as an attack. As the largest techtuber, LTT needs to be held to a higher standard. If they are releasing bad data, which they were/are, they need to/deserve to be called out.

Generally speaking I like LMG content, but seems to me the issues GN raised were largely valid.

Yes, but unfortunately it looks like Linus took this as an attack rather than a learning experience. There is still time for him to make things right though.

First post, but long time watcher of both LTT and GN. I basically read almost every post on this crazy thread.
 
I think whole conversation stems from LTT Labs. Since LTT is entering the realm of performing data accurate reviews, then it needs to be data accurate. This is basically what Steve is pushing. This type of dialogue will only push LTT Labs to become better. I don't feel there will be any loss for either party except growth and that could be more for LTT than GN. I think and believe this is a good thing.
 
I hope to see growth from both parties as a result of this wonderful, beautiful, drama free discourse.... Lol.

You should buy one regardless. I got one for Christmas and it's incredible.

Worse things could happen. I'd rather they improve their security and bring stuff up when ready than face a possible takeover again.
 
Also, I can guarantee they are going to make a video on this. The cameras will be rolling constantly. 

My guess is it is fixed already. I am sure they are working with Linus to try to identify how this happened before bringing it back up so that they can be sure it doesn't immediately get hacked again.
