  1. hey, so thank you for commenting once again, so her's the thing.. i think my gpu setting are on default but not sure because, it says that it's set to default clock speed but when i start playng a game it's much more that it's stock speed playing on the lowest settings 768p by the way
  2. If anyone want's to help me out and needs more info of my build: CPU - i3 4130 3.40 ghz GPU - GTX 960 2gb gddr5 RAM - 2x4 8gb 1600mhz PSU - 500w EVGA P.s my monitor is 768p
  3. no, believe me i'm not remembering anything wrong, i just know that my card isn't performing as well as it should, plus if i look at any of the other 960s they outperform my card by a long shot, and neither cpu or any other component in my build is the problem.
  4. i don't exactly know what're the benchmark numbers, but let's say i was getting 40+fps with ultra (768p) setting in ac unity or origins and now it doesn't even hit 30 on the lowest, and stutters a lot. it just says that limit is the voltage.
  5. Hello everyone ! So, i'v got GTX 960 and a 500w PSU, when i bought the card about a year ago, it was working fine, i was playng games with fairly good perfomance but one day i decided to overcklock it, and hit the ceiling and perfomance declined, i reseted everything but never regained the perfomance i was getting at one point. it has been like that ever since but after long time, i decided to fix the problem, i've deleted the MSI afterboorner, cleaned the card, installed the new windows but the problem remains. i've checked it with, once again, MSI AB and it says that there's a voltage limit, and the card stays very cool even when it's 100% underloa. i've set my windows to perfomance mode, in NVIDEA cp on power managment mode it's set to maxumum perfomance as well. with MSI afterboorner i've clocked core voltage with 100+ and power limit is set to 110, but nothing has changed. So can any one of you help me with the problem, or has any of you ever've been in the same situation ??
  6. actually this video was the reason why i went with gtx460 over gtx650 ?
  7. thanks man but i'm afraid it's out of my price range it's almost 1000ლაირ $370. thanks for the suggestion though man.
  8. sorry i couldn't understand very well (i'm a foreginer so yeah :dd) you mean get a better cpu than i5 2500k ? may consider 16gb of ram thank you
  9. i wasn't able to find the 7950 however i could find AMD Radeon HD 7850 1GB GDDR5 256Bit for 120ლარი $45 at my local shop (meaning the whole country) would you recomend it ?
  10. and what would that be ? i found i3 2100 for 50ლაირ $19 if it'll be better...
  11. do you know what's funnier when i bought it it only had 2gb ddr2 600mhz ram :d though it's old but gold (more like silver but whatever) :d
  12. and those are the games that i'd like to play ?, thanks for the replay mate...
  13. though i bought it "all new" system back in 2011 or 10 i don't remember :d
  14. no i'm not going to buy 1080p, 768p is alright for me. wouldn't i5 get bottelnecked then, sorry i don't know anything about these HD gpus. and i will think about getting ssd thank you.
  15. Hey guys i already posted at the gpu section but might as well write the whole build. So i'm from Georgia (the country) (not the state) it's under Russia, above turkey, next to the black seas... yeah... yeah... that's the one. so currently i've got ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5KPL-AM (Socket 775) motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz Wolfdale 45nm Technology 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 800mhz Evga gtx 460 v2 1gb gddr5 192bit Vcard (it's pretty good, it's as powerful as gtx650 1gb if not better) 298GB SAMSUNG HD322HJ ATA Device (SATA ) 500w EVGA PSU 768p monitor 60hz it's pretty sh*t i know, so that's why i decided to upgrade from socket 775 to any other one (thinking of 1155) my budget is probbobly around 500lari(ლარი) that's about 185USD (for the record i'm not thinking of building completly new pc just "upgrading" (meaning i'm sticking with 500wpsu,298gb HDD and might stick with gtx460 dunno). so here's what i'm planing: 1155 socket Mboard it's price range varies between 80lari(ლარი) $30 to 120lari(ლარი) $45 i3 or i5 (i found i3 - 3240 for 70lari(ლარი) $26 and i5 - 2500k for 110lari(ლარი) $41) so as i said i might stick with gtx460, but someone told me,on the gpu section, where i asked which was better gtx660 2gb or gtx750ti which are about 150lari(ლარი) $55 (i was thinking of buying one for a time) , to opt for either gtx950 170-180lari(ლარი) $63-67 or gtx960 180-200lari(ლარი) $67-75, so what's your opinion about that ? 8gb ddr3 ram (which i couldn't found for bargain it's mostly round 100lari(ლარი) $37) i'm sticking with my 500w psu and with mt 768p monitor, i just don't need a fullHD one or something like that, i'm pretty happy with what i've got ^^ so the price range is between 400lari(ლარი) $150 to 520lari(ლარი) $193 so you might think $43 difference isn't much but for me 120ლარი is pretty big number (more like medium size but still :d) i'll be using it for gaming though i'm just a player ;_; (i don't play too much games, but) i'll be playing more open world games such as Assassin's Creed series and GTA V of course, i'm crazy about AC though, i might play some shooter too like Battelfied 1 really intrigues me newer one i don't really like that much. TBH i'm alright playing a game with 30fps at768p medium-high settings, but if i'll be able to play a game with more fps at high-very high setting high you wont find any man happier than me. thank you, good bye, have a good one... P.S for those who think this isn't that much capable system i can play Gta v with 768p mostly low just reflections, water at high and also anisotropic filtering x16 oh and fxaaon msaax2 (the reason being the gpu it really is an old beast i could find it for cheap for 100lari $37,before that i had gt610 1gb (it couldn't paly sh*t) and this old 460 was a fresh air for me only thing was that cpu was bottelnecking it was mostly at 99% usage and gpu was at 20-35% that's why i put a few setting up gpu suage got from that to 65%, i was playing it visync-on at 30fps most of the times, though it dipped to lower 20s to high 10s (dual channel cpu was the problem i guess) that's why at first i wanted to get a good 775 cpu like quad q9650 or something but i though it wouldn't be more capable of upgrading and might as well buy a newer socket Mboard (Assassin's creed Origins and Odissey were probably the reason as well it not being reales on socket775). i aslo could play Assassin's creed IV Black Flag at 768p medium with round 30fps. i don't know why i wrote all these but it may help you some day, just a return for your suggestions or help, more info, so yeah that's it, goodbye for now... P.S.S i 'd like to go for more intel and nvidea product i know the amd and all of thole other companies product are good as well, but i jsut don't get it, i'd prefer intel cpus and nvidea gpus
  16. Tho i found i5 2500k for $45 if its worth it...
  17. probably about $40 (maybe less) there's no reason whatsoever, i just found it for about $35
  18. might consider that, thank you. but would that pair well to the i3 2240 ?
  19. soo i have a question wich gpu would i be better of with ? Gtx660 (ti) or Gtx750 (ti) i watched some videos where gtx660 is deffinately better but in some cases mostly newer games (i guess) gtx750 takes the lead. i wont be playing a lot of games on it mostly Assassin's Creed series, GTA V and some shooters like Cod and BF. what's your experience with the card and which one would you suggest more... P.S i'm building a new budget pc witch socket 1155, with 8gb ddr3 ram and probobly i3 2240 (also i currently have gtx 460 v2 1gb) so what's your thoughts on it and what other alternative would you suggest for best budget price ? thank you
  20. yes i do know that, i downloaded it just for fun, but i was suprised when it run with 30fps do you think quad core will fix it tho ?
  21. hey all, so i recently downloaded the witcher 3, i have a intel core 2 duo, 4gb dd2 ram, gtx460v2 and 768p monitor but it has a lot of frezes and fps drops in every few moments, otherwise it's runing it with 30 smooth fps, can you tell me is it thecause of cpu or ram ? and if so can i fix it without buying any new parts for the pc... thanks!
