  1. I had the same problem and found the solution step by step... Click on the mayor folder that contain the subfolders with permission restrictions apply to them... Click on Properties > Security > Advance > Owner: Change > Enter the object name to select (example) > Type your USERNAME on the BOX and hit ACCEPT Before you save the setting click on "Replace owner on sub-containers and objects" and hit OK bellow. This is how I did it and finally gain control over all my files. To check your username go here > C:\Users
  2. Well if the problem is the side-scroll buttom, you can disable that buttom. If for some reason Logitech Gamming Software don't allow you to do this I been playing arround with Logitech G HUB and can do same macros and all on the G502, including remaping the side-scroll to anything you like, the program is ligther and definitly solve some of my issues, but I'm still trying to find a way to reverse the internal memory back to factory default (memory wipe). If the problem is the infinite wheel spin, then all you have to do is lock it down with that toggle/mecanical swich on the middle of the mouse, if this doesn't work then you might as well have a broke mecanism and should be send to warrantys. If you have problem with the tracker all you need to do is update the firmware (very common problem from the old days), there an autoupdate option for this but you can also search for the program inside here if you allready have installed the logitech gamming thing: C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\FWUpdate.
  3. I been using the G502 without issues for more than 2 years. Now seem like the memory inside got glichy, I been reformating the OS and problem was still present (random power off cicling different drivers or memory modules/profiles). So far best I got to get it back to good condition was: -Update firmware again "C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\FWUpdate\G502" -Follow some steps to get all close to default as possible https://www.overclock.net/forum/375-mice/1522857-how-i-debugged-g502-read-logitech-people.html -Use a different version, older, lighter and with less chances to trigger the glich https://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/lghub" -Also try to disable 2 of the 3 profiles on the device manager and now I'm trying to find a way to see if the problem is related to a defected or dying battery inside the device. The problem is deffinitly store inside the memory, is purely hardware. With all this done I got mouse back to normal like 95%, still having issues and hope to find some solution that doesn't involve disasemble the thing the replace a battery or short-circuit something to get it back to factory settings.
