  1. So, I ordered a used rx 580 off of ebay, and It would work, I installed the drivers, but as soon as I try to launch a game or do something graphics intensive, I hard-locks my computer and puts the fans to 100%, so I put down all of the options in afterburner except for fan speed and temp limit, DOWNclocking it, but it would still do the same thing. I=The seller already refunded the money, but he told me to keep the card, if there is any way to get it working, or any ideas, it would be of grat help to me.
  2. So, I was looking at the reviewer's (Bitwit, GamersNexus) thoughts on Walmart's gaming PC's and decided to whip together a list real quick, and then realized how much of a ripoff these PC's are, So, I tried to stay truw to most of the specs on the list, But I went with dual channel, upgraded the card and SSD, Included the OS, and guess what? here it is. 4. wow, never really saw these benchmarks before, so i guess u right, also, I want onto user benchmark and the 570 8gb was almost as good as the 1060 for less so, I guess I can critique my build towards that then stick a ryzen 3 in there
  5. first off, how dare you criticize fx series, the fx-8350 is still one of the best budget cpu´s you can get nowadays, also, trying to keep this build sub 500 and have good gaming performance so gpu is going to be a big chunk of the build, so yeah. Also, in the list that Cereal posted, he put an rx 570, which is outperformed by the 1060 in almost all cases.
  6. so, ive spent about the last 2 hours optimizing this list and it seems pretty good, but, critique me! 7. the problem with that is that the 2200g needs a b450 mobo which costs more than b350
  8. alright, so I cheaped out on the CPU with a Ryzen 3 1200 and was able to fit in a 1060 6b used and the total was less... 10. alright, ill try to fit that in the budget
  11. Ive been trying to find the perfect budget build ever since I've started on this site, I have wanted to make this sort of build for a while so, destroy my build PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor $94.99 @ Newegg Motherboard MSI - B350M PRO-VD PLUS Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $52.99 @ B&H Memory Team - Elite Plus 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory $59.99 @ Newegg Storage Kingston - A400 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $27.99 @ Amazon Storage Toshiba - Product Series:DT01ACA 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $22.95 @ Amazon Video Card EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB SC GAMING Video Card $234.89 @ OutletPC Case Rosewill - SCM-01 MicroATX Mini Tower Case $24.99 @ Amazon Power Supply Corsair - CXM (2015) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply $21.99 @ Newegg Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $615.78 Mail-in rebates -$75.00 Total $540.78 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-10-26 13:11 EDT-0400 I have tried cheaping out on everything, which is why i went with ryzen 1, because the 2nd gen motherboards are too expensive and BIOS updates are a pain in the ass (at least for me)
  12. please remember that this trying to beat a console at the same price point, or rather the xbox one x, I wanted to get the best bng for the buck at the same price range so thats why i didnt cheap out on the CPU, and yes, I could use an SSD.
