  1. Hello guys I have purchase recently a NZXT h500i pc case and i have the following configuration: - i5 3470 (old but i am waiting for new intel generation to upgrade it) - stock cooler (which i will change with the new CPU) - temp in full load 75 - GTX 1080 D5X Gigabyte (which always overclocked so temp is always around 75) - NZXT case comes with 2x coolers 120 Aer F (one in top and one in back). both of the coolers are set on performance (mainly they work at around 90%). both coolers are exhaust. i want to purchase 2x coolers for front (i dont think i will go to water cooler in future, for CPU i most likely will buy one of the best air cooling) can add in pc case 2x 140 in front and i can replace one in top from 120 to 140. My question is: for best airflow and to lower a bit the temp, should i buy 2x 140 (front) and replace the one from top from 120 to 140? (front panel should be intake) will the temp really drop with even 5 degrease if i add these coolers? if i set my GPU in vertical position will change the GPU temp? i am thinking to buy https://www.nzxt.com/products/aer-f so i can use my fan controller build in pc case also i saw that NZXT has Aer P (static) and Aer F (flow), one is for liquid and one for pc case? PS: i use my PC 90% in gaming so my GPU is my main prio PS2: i dont care about lighting and stuff, h500i has more than enough (for me) Thanks, Mihai
  2. So you think that I should invest in CPU ? how much improvement it will be with a 8400 i5? On cpuuserbenchmark the 8400 is 25% improvement over 3470 (single core)
  3. i use this PC 90% only for gaming for work related stuff ... i use a Mac
  4. here are the images (attached) CPU is running at 3400MHz (almost) max value was ~45% - not sure about the temp tho GPU 95-100% at 1772 MHz (OC mode) with temp max 76 now i see that my DDR3-1600 is working on 798,2 MHz ... any ideas? so you guys think that an upgrade to i5-8400 / 8600k will not change anything? (in terms of fps or anything) also, any ideas how much performance a GTX 1080 ti will give me? (in terms of fps)
  5. wow fast replies thank you all! i will come with some images, maybe i didnt remember all the details that good well in this case, i will invest my money in GTX 1080 ti and in some better cooling for my CPU and PC case
  6. Hey all, Anyone can help me to identify if i have to upgrade to a new CPU or not? i mainly play World of Warcraft at 4k 60hz - 50-60fps (not in raids) and my current setup is: i5 3470 GTX 1080 12GB RAM 1600 SSD 840 evo i am thinking that i should upgrade my CPU to a i5 8400 or 8600k, but i am not 100% sure that its OK or not, not sure i have understand properly the bottleneck. My GPU is always 100% used (OC at 1772 i believe) and the temp is 75 and my CPU is 25% (or similar) with temp of 60 (stock fan) What do you guys think, should i get a new CPU 8400/8600k + MB Asus ROG 370 strix E or not? Thanks PS: i dont use the computer for other major stuff, just gaming
