  1. Try clearing out your page file. Should be pretty easy to search up how to do this. Yonks ago I had issues with my games performing at a subpar level for my hardware, turned out the page file was absolutely massive and re-paging my SSD helped heaps
  2. I've heard stories of some jewellers being able to repair these! The obvious best answer is a replacement to be safe, but that can be super expensive, but it may also be cheaper than the repair route.
  3. In general, heat can destroy any electronic device! In short, yes, this will degrade your phone quicker over time.
  4. Silly question, but... Is your BIOS at the latest version?
  5. All but one looks good from my angle. My only issue there is the B450M Chipset paired with 3rd Gen Ryzen, for first boot, it may have an issue, but after a BIOS update, it should work flawlessly
  6. The Elgato capture cards use HDMI Passthrough to capture your gameplay, so anything you see/hear on screen will be captured by it. Here's an Amazon link with a few examples: https://www.amazon.com/slp/capture-card-pc-and-xbox-one/sjxgok3dznyd3tz
  7. Seems pretty odd.. May I assume you were using Ryzen 1000 / 2000 series previously on this setup? If so, it may be possible that the CPU's FSB could have some issues.. Do you have any friends were you may be able to test your CPU on their hardware? Just to limit down any possibilities of course!
  8. The new PSU you bought may be faulty man! Are you able to take it back to where you bought it and ask them to test it for you? I'm not really an expert on older hardware but I do believe that the standards for Motherboard power connections have stayed relatively the same for quite some time!
  9. Guys, let's not argue, I'm sorry my bilingual friend, I may not have been clear. The reason I bothered putting it in with my original reply is because in terms of raw performance, it is pretty much the same. My original reply was more to inform that upgrading from a previous Generation CPU to a Current Generation CPU is an amazing feeling! and to the OP, just remember that if you do go down this route of upgrading your CPU to a Ryzen or new Intel CPU, you may need to review the rest of your system as well; Motherboard and RAM mainly! If you need any assistance or extra advice, you can surely see we're all glad to try and assist!
  10. I was looking more for the g-ram in that case there, the 570 I had only had 4 gig but the 580 had 8 gig. I just decided to spend that little extra for the extra performance too. Besides, this thread is about the CPU more than the GPU, so why are you nit picking at my response..? Just seemed kinda pointless to me.

  12. 20Cent Hardware has a point! haha! However, even using an RX 570 or 580 would also do quite well on your build and mitigate the bottleneck! https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti-vs-AMD-RX-580/3649vs3923
  13. And may I assume you're using US Dollars? $500 in Australia is vastly different from $500 in the U.S
  14. Best system in terms of what? Different hardware is good for different occasions!
  15. Honestly, your system is getting kinda old, I hate to be that guy that says this, but you really will benefit from an upgrade into the Ryzen series I recently canned my old system and went to a Ryzen 7 2700 and I can tell you, the difference is amazing!
