    HOLYF@$K It Works!

Samsung made unlocking the phone slower with an animation! OMFG that is dumb.

    Thanks for the tip!

Between saving my right thumb 4 times at 4 different angles, and now this, it seems pretty good.

@CPotter Make a video on this! The People must know about turning off 'screen transition effect'!

I got a S10 (regular) March 9th and I really love the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor!

I used to think the Ultrasonic FP sensor was VERY slow - like you said in the video.
About 5 days ago, I tried to remove the screen transistion effect (biometrics preferences) and registrer my finger again. It works 90% of the time and I litterally can just tap the display and it unlocks, when it works. :)
The FP sensor is actually - in my experience - way better than my old phone - which was a Galaxy S7 Edge and my iPad Pro 9.7'' (touch id gen 1).
I have the Exynos version of the S10 and love it.

US tech giants should make a deal with Trump, they will stop targeting conservatives and implement policies that reflect the 1st amendment, if he starts targeting the EU with economic sanctions and defense withdrawal. Time to bend these EU bureaucrats over and spank them.

    Kickstart it!
I would contribute at least 5$. I love scrapyard wars.

Would be even better to let them go to another country and have a rule that forbids shipping at all. Would be hilarous to see them struggling to get parts by talking with natives who aren't fluent in english.

No Sponsor huh? If DBrand sponsored it, I'd buy a Grip for my S10+. I might also be willing to buy some jerky.

This Steam/Epic stuff is the dumbest gamer feud I have seen in a long time. They are both free, this is not worth caring about. Like I played Metro Exodus last week, had to get Epic for that, took a whole 5 minutes to download and make an account. There is no meaningful difference.

This is the dumbest of dumb gamer arguments. It literally costs you nothing to have both!

Cannot agree with you there. The people giving the warning cannot be trusted. It does not matter who they are. All humans given power become corrupt and wield that power to their own ends. Which is why all the major fact finding sites like Politifact, are easily shown partisan hackery (seriously look up how many subjective statements are fact checked!).

In games at that resolution, I wonder if you could just turn the resolution down in games though, and enjoy the massive resolution advantage for videos and photos.

And even with the resolution lower, will it look better on the HP with upscaling and less visually noticeable pixel grid.

They also say they will send 4K HDR at 60 FPS at 30 mbps. That is going to have noticeable compression artifacts. Also if you are game streaming for hours on end, you will hit your data cap, and then you got to pay the $50 I am to Comcast for unlimited, or whatever your ISP takes.

So you may not even save money by not having to buy hardware, as your internet cost may increase! Mind you for the $50 Comcast charges for unlimited, Apple sells people a $1000 smartphone, Sony and Microsoft could do likewise sell $1000 consoles that outmatch anything Stadia provides, and does so at only $50 a month!

That sounds pretty good, and makes sense when you consider the 1660ti is roughly equivalent, around $280 in a smaller, less power hungry package.

Why does Android have to do this and not Apple? At least Android lets you get software from someplace not Google without rooting your device.

I prefer the design with bezels for the iPad mini, using the old design it keeps the 3.5mm jack and TouchID and its kind of silly the iPad Pro doesn't have a 3.5mm jack. I think Samsung would have a chance at selling more tablets if they would give it their best SoC, even if the price increased $100 more.

A truly great idea. Simple, yet extremely effective. The only issue is that it still relies on underlying internet infrastructure that is in the hands of the tech companies who are run by progressives. So I suspect if it ever gets popular they get thrown off whatever hosting support they had, whatever DDOS protection they have, mass DDOS'd, and blacklisted.
Most countries sucking does not mean the internet has to suck. You do have a right to free speech, its a human right, its a god given right, you were born with it, and they have stolen it from you, and now tricked you into thinking it was good for you. Hate speech laws have never reduced hate, they have only ever reduced speech.

Microsoft, puts free web browser and media player with Windows, allows customers to install any browser or media player they want.

    ANTITRUST TRIALS, MASSIVE FINES...

Apple creates walled garden monopoly on iOS software distribution, customers can only install what Apple allows, charges developers 30% to get on platform, and then develops their own competing product which does not have to pay that 30%.

    ...

What Apple is doing is far worse than anything Microsoft did, and you know it. The entire model is built around creating a software monopoly and then using that to make Apple's products more compelling. That they haven't been dragged into court over this before is quite remarkable.

As a proud 5 year voter, I say tough cookies. No operating system should have to support OS updates and Security patches for consumer hardware that hasn't been on sale for 5 years. That is entirely unrealistic with the pace of change in the industry.

Looking at your monitor on Amazon, it says it has HDMI 1.4. HDMI 1.4 only supports 4k 30hz, and lacks the HDCP necessary for running 4k on the XBox. It is not compatible.
