  3. 1. did you connect your graphics card to your monitor (if you do have a dedicated graphics card, if not, connect the display cable to your motherboard i/o) and did you select the correct input on your monitor 2. is your ram properly seated? (when you insert your ram there should be a click sound and the tabs will lock onto the ram) 3. did you insert your cpu in the correct orientation; the triangle on the cpu should align with the triangle next to the motherboard socket 4. is the 8-pin atx connector connected to the motherboard 5. is the 24-pin atx connector connected to the motherboard 6. did you install motherboard standoffs 7. are there any loose screws or anything which can cause the board to short out 8. if you are using a dedicated graphics card, is it loose
  4. I want to replace my server's delta 60mm x 38mm fans (which make quite a lot of noise). Does anyone have any suggestions for a silent 60mm x 38mm fan? Thanks.
  5. I've been looking for a thin mini itx board for my next build. So far I've found the Asus h310t gigabyte ga-h310tn and asrock imb-1212. Could you suggest more thin mini itx boards for me? Thanks.
  6. I have a Dell Poweredge R710 server with dual x5690s (unlocked multiplier) running Windows 10. I am wondering if it would be possible to overclock the cpus within Windows since my motherboard does not support overclocking. My psu should be powerful enough (870W).
  7. That was a picture I pulled off the internet....
  8. I have no idea who it was manufactured by for I bought it second hand.
  9. I am attempting to water cool my pc for the first time but I have no idea where the input and output for the water are....please help me, thanks. My pump looks something like the one below.
  10. I could always mount the pump and rad to the back of the case.....but if water cooling isn't a very viable solution, would using an engine 17 to cool maybe an i7-8700 cause the chip to thermal throttle horribly?
  11. its a laptop, and the chip would be the i9-9900k
  12. i need the extra power from a desktop chip but cannot fork out thousands for something like a eurocom laptop
  13. im using an asus prime h310t motherboard (thin mini itx) and not putting a gpu in it
  14. i basically want something like this which uses a blower fan but its height needs to be below 20mm (this is around 30mm tall)
  15. there arent any decent coolers under 20mm so i decided to try watercooling...
  16. tried that as well.... but i used the option where windows would keep my apps and files
  17. I have already tried updating it, to no avail.
  18. I'm building a pc in a laptop housing (an old Asus G2S), and I only have 20mm of height to work with in the case, but I want to water cool it. Any suggestions on a low profile radiator with fans below 20mm?
  19. I just found a low profile water block for my next build from EKWB, but I can't seem to find the dimensions on their website (https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-annihilator). Could someone point me towards where I could find the dimensions for this product? Thanks.
  20. So I'm running an unactivated version of windows 10 pro. Lately, whenever I attempt to transfer files from my phone to my pc, the disk usage goes up to 5000MB/s (my drives max out at 500MB/s), and the background mysteriously changed to the background of my laptop which is running activated windows 10 pro. Also, none of the windows store apps work, the notifications panel refuses to open and the windows start button does not work. I suspect it may be something to do with my registry, could someone help me resolve this?
  21. im basically building a pc in an old asus G2S laptop so there isnt much room for cooling and i want to put an i9-9900k in it.....
