resetoriginal reacted to Verne in Corsair M40 vs Corsair M65 quick review
I also have the M40 and I've noticed the scroll wheel rattling, too. Of course you have to move the mouse really fast to notice it so it is not too distracting.
As for M65 vs M40 (laser vs optical), I chose the M40 because I also find the optical sensor to be much smoother than a laser one. I've always been disappointed by little inaccuracies and quirks with laser sensors in the past so I'm gonna stick with optical sensors.

Go back to 6/11 windows pointer speed. You're making your mouse less accurate by changing it. Maybe you've forced yourself to get used to a whacked-out sensitivity, but you'll benefit by getting used to a lower one.
Anyway, is the switch from metal to plastic in any way actually noticeable?
Well considering the main function of a mouse is going where you point it, being better at that is rather significant - especially if going where you point it is important to you, as it tends to be for gamers.

the m40 and the m65 only have 1 led, the m40 is only red, and the m65 is only blue.
this is true, it can be handy for other things as well, all depends on play style. thanks for mentioning it.

resetoriginal reacted to GamerDude in Mechanical Keyboard Club!
^^Collecting mech keyboards can be addictive, can't it? I've only gotten into mech KB's about 8-9 months back, and I already have nine of them....will hit ten once the YOTS is released as I've been confirmed to get one. Looking at Topre Realforce but I'm trying to rein in this urge to buy, I have to limit myself or I'll end up with easily a dozen or more KBs. :o Think I'll stop at 10, maybe 11 since I'm thinking of getting a a blue LED DS III which I can get mid july...

Always loved the aesthetics of the 600T, I've built a few systems in it myself and was a very easy case to do so :)

hey everyone, so this is my new pc! it took me a bit to decide on color and components but i finally managed to get it to my liking:P i was not too impressed with haswell so i decided to go ivy bridge and ride out 1155 like a champ! the fans are corsair quiet editions, and the front is a bitfenix spectre pro 200mm. i'm also using corsair's gen 2 sleeved cables, which are fantastic! its a fairly quiet system and if i put on some music or put my headphones on i wont even notice its there. aside the cpu i also clocked the card up a bit and added my heaven 4.0 scores. this will be my rig for the next couple of years (aside maybe a second 680? =3) and i am very happy with it, hope everyone here likes it too. enjoy:)
