  1. Hey folks, currently have the issue that GoW turns the subtitles back on if I close it and start it up again. I go into the settings and disable subtitles but after a restart / reboot they turn back on. Did I miss a setting or is this just a known bug? (I did ask reddit but the only response I get are downvotes, yikes.)
  2. Just tested it. USB 2.0 stick works without issues.
  3. Hey folks, I have a weird issue. First of all if I plug in my G533 USB dongle in my front USB 2.0 ports everything is fine. Same goes for the back USB 2.0 and 3.0 port. Now as soon as I plug in the G533 Dongle to my front USB 3.0 ports, the BIOS freezes and if I unplug the Dongle, BIOS goes back to normal (no crash, just a freeze). Same happens with USB 3.0 Sticks but if I unplug the stick and plug it in the same port, the BIOS does not freeze anymore. This does not work with the Dongle. Also the PC does not POST with the G533 Dongle in the front USB 3.0 Port. I thought okay, maybe the front ports can't get enough power. So I tested it with an USB Stick and CrystalDiskMark. No issues and speeds are as expected. SanDisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 The G533 Dongle does connect to the headset but Windows does not recognize it (only on the back USB 2.0 / 3.0 ports and on the front USB 2.0 ports). Then I tested a external SSD which should need more power and even here no Issues in read / write speeds. SanDisk SSD Plus 120GB Any ideas why this happens?
  4. I tried that too but that also did not work.
  5. That is exactly how I have it (3 Monitors). If I only have two, I need to set the High-Refresh one to max. 120Hz. If it is 144Hz the clocks get stuck again.
  6. Kinda, that was actually only a test to see if there is something fishy going on and yes there is. The Core and Memory Clocks get stuck which forces the GPU to draw more power which also means it gets hotter that also includes idle loads like under 5% for example. With the Nvidia Inspector (Multi-Monitor Power Saver) the Core and Memory Clocks are lower and don't get stuck anymore which means less power usage and less heat. I did the same exact 0% RPM test without the Nvidia Inspector and with the Nvidia Inspector. Just postet this reply to @Xaring So basically my problem is solved if I use the Nvidia Inspector. Which is a temporary thing. So far I have not found a solution to fix the Clock issue.
  7. Have you looked at the first post. I updated it. Not that hard to see that the GPU temp reaches 70°C+ while doing nothing. I currently use the Nvidia inspector and I replied to you with the same 0% fan usage. GPU stays under 40°C+ easily now. Not sure what you want from me but here to clarify again: Without Nvidia inspector (Multi-Monitor Power Saver): No Overclock GPU Fan Speed -> 0% GPU utilization -> under 5% GPU Core Clock (stuck): 1531MHz GPU Memory Clock (stuck): 1377MHz GPU Temperature after 5 mins: 74°C GPU Hot Spot Temperature after 5 mins: 88°C Screenshot: With Nvidia Inspector (Multi-Monitor Power Saver): No Overclock GPU Fan Speed -> 0% GPU utilization -> under 20% GPU Core Clock (stuck): 607MHz GPU Memory Clock (stuck): 101MHz GPU Temperature after 5 mins: 36°C GPU Hot Spot Temperature after 5 mins: 50°C Screenshot: I don't know what you want from me. Both test have the same environment and same setting but one does not have high Core / Memory Clocks that are stuck. Which is a bug and can be fixed by using Nvidia Inspector (Multi-Monitor Power Saver). I really don't understand what you want from me. There is literally proof (Screenshots) for what I did say.
  8. To proof you wrong I did download Nvidia Inspector and activated the multi-display power saver. As you can clearly see the GPU Clock and Memory Clock are not stuck anymore which means it runs cooler. And to top things off, 0% fan speed and higher GPU usage (16%) and it is still under 37°C.
  9. Yeah I would agree if the GPU was not in IDLE. It get's constantly hotter and hotter despite not being used (like literally reached 90°C in idle). Sorry but that does not make sense at all. Something that isn't in use should not get increasingly hotter. Even if you look here they have a constant range for example idle at 0% fan speed, temps are between 30°C and 40°C.
  10. Thanks that is something I will try out. Updated the Post:
  11. It's not fine if the GPU fans blow hard in idle mode. And there is still the issue that the Core Clock is stuck and doesn't go down which increased power draw and with that the temerature. That is the other problem it goes higher than 85°C under load. Any recommendations for a good thermal paste?
  12. Hey folks, [Update below] I have a little problem with my current setup. It's just too hot. First of all I will show you / list my Setup and airflow of the case. CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 (1st Gen) Mainboard: ASUS PRIME B350M-K GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Ti Armor OC RAM: CMK16GX4M2A2400C14 SSD 1: CT500MX500SSD1 SSD 2: CT256MX100SSD1 M.2: ADATA SX8200PNP CPU Cooler: Alpenföhn Ben Nevis Advanced 130mm (1500 rpm) Case: Sharkoon TG5 (Front-Glass removed) Case Fans: 5 x ARCTIC F12 120mm (1350 rpm) 1 x be quiet! Pure Wings 2 120mm (1500 rpm) Case Airflow / Fan setup GPU Temperatures / Usage CPU Temperatures / Usage So in short: I want to fix that. Would be great if we can find a solution / pointers to a possible solution. Thanks EDIT: So some might think that those temperature are fine but as soon as I use 0db you will understand why it is not okay.
  13. To Question 1: There are tons of bugs but not really game breaking. I got stuck in my vehicle multiple times but I was able to reload the save and everything went back to "normal". To Question 2: I don't love it and I don't hate it. It's nothing more than a below average game to me. It can be fun but nothing in this game is "special" and the story is actually pretty average. Edit: I finished it on PC.
  14. No, 650W is already calculated with some overhead. 650W is totally fine for custom OC cards.
  15. Blurry, kinda but I have a way bigger issue. The draw distance is a bad joke even on 1440p Ultra Settings. I haven't had this issue before the Patch. Sure it was good but at least it was far better than right now.
  16. Damn, generally speaking there is not much improvement in terms of fps but it is lots smoother while driving. My Ryzen 5 1600 now uses up to 91% instead of max. 65% before the self-made patch.
  17. Personally I don't "feel" a difference in performance, so I always go with Crucial. So far I didn't have any issues with those drives. SanDisk is hit & miss. Two SSDs broke down after about 1 year, that is not really good. Curical's 480GB/500GB SSDs should be around 47-53 bucks but you should check if you can find it somewhere on sale. Normally storage drives are pretty frequently on sale (at least in Germany) and you can even find "older" versions for much cheaper and again I don't feel a difference at all. Sure they can be a bit slower but I don't mind that at all if the price is right.
  18. It's not a CPU bottleneck. From reports Cyberpunk has issues with newer RTX Cards. Some get those issues fixed after reinstalling the graphics driver multiple times others just went straight to older versions of the driver. Using an older driver would be a good test. Edit: Try VSync in Fast Mode and Max Performance (both can be set in the Nvidia Control Panel). Also if you have GSync/FreeSync disable it and see it if helps. I had a similar issue in Borderlands 3 with Gsync/Freesync.
  19. You could try the tool LatencyMon to see what task increases your latency (which could cause microstutters). But I also think it could be because you are using a HDD. SSDs these days are pretty cheap and you don't need to buy a 1TB SSD. A 500GB SSD should be enough if you only install games you actual play.
  20. True that but that might take some weeks until we get a hotfix. Nvidia is not exactly fast, at least that is what I experienced over the years.
  21. I read on reddit that some people clean installed the driver and it solved the issue for some systems.
  22. Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't benefit from 6 or more cores/threads. It's a GPU bound game and sadly there is simply not enough optimization going on. People without a DLSS compatible card (like me) or RX 6800/XT will have a hard time with this game. I get about 40-50fps on 1440p at mixed low-medium settings. GPU runs at 99% and CPU at max. 65%. On 1080p at low settings I can get about 80-85fps but only in building. As soon as I go outside it drops down to 45-50fps and goes up to 55-60fps. For me it is kinda weird that there is literally no optimized setting that I can use on 1440p to get stable 60fps, not even on low. Same goes for 1080p, sure I get 60+fps in certain areas but most of time I barely get 60fps. I spent about 2 hours changing settings but so far the performance is just terrible compared to other new AAA games like RDR2 and Metro Exodus, which I recently played and on mixed medium-high settings, my system got stable 70fps at 1440p and in Metro I even reached 80-85fps. Personally I think RDR2 and Metro look better than CP2077 mainly because as soon as you change some settings in CP2077 it becomes blurry. Also if you turn Screen Space Reflections down from Ultra/Psycho to medium or low, any reflective surface looks grainy. Using Nvidia's Game Filters make it better but it shouldn't be like this in the first place. Guess I have to wait for some patches. My System:
  23. The same thing. I can disable the cache settings on all drives but it still keeps caching. Funnily enough, my dad has the same drive and he has those cache settings enabled but he doesn't encounter a 1GB/s write speed. Also in the meantime I reinstalled Windows 10 and the cache is still there. I have absolutely no idea why it does it but all my files are totally fine. So I can live with that I guess
  24. I found the setting: Disk Management > Properties (on a drive) > Policies. Write caching was on but even after disabling it, the drive still writes over 1.0GB/s.
