  1. My family has a 1 GB Xfinity (comcast) WiFi w/ voice plan and the included modem / router combo isn't giving us the speed we want. We only have roughly 15-20 devices connected at any time and only I use a substantial amount of bandwidth. When no one else is connected to the WiFi, I get 250 mb/s down on my phone and 350 mb/s down on my PC, roughly 30 ft from the router. On a wired connection, I get 450 - 500 mb/s down which still isn't close to the 1 GB that we pay for. I've been looking around the internet for reviews on the possible upgrades and every website has a different opinion, so I'm asking if anyone had a similar experience with Xfinity and what modem / router I can buy to improve my speeds. P.S. I don't need to have a modem / router combo P.P.S Money isn't an issue Thanks All!
  2. I have an Asus Z370 Prime A motherboard that doesn't have included bluetooth and WiFi, and I'm finding myself needing to connect a couple of bluetooth devices. Does anyone have a recommendation?
  3. oh also, do you have to connect this to the motherboard with a usb cable?
  4. I built a PC not too long ago and at the time I didn't think I would have the need for WiFi/Bluetooth, so I bought an Asus Prime z370 motherboard. But I'm going to be moving into a new apartment soon and I need to be able to connect to a WiFi network so I need a WiFi pcie card. As I'm looking for a card it would be awesome to have bluetooth as well. Does anyone have any recommendations?

  6. I'm going to be ordering the parts for my first gaming PC build in a week and I'm still unsure. Should I get the i7 or i5? I'm going to use this mostly for gaming, and some light programming and streaming. Is the i7 worth the extra $100? Here are my 2 parts lists: i7: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QTNqw6 i5: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Dyn76s
  7. I'm about 2 weeks from ordering the parts for my first gaming PC. I'm going with a GTX 1080 and I can't decide between an i5 8600k or an i7 8700k. I'm going to be playing mainly esports titles in 1080p and I'm trying to get the most FPS. I'll be doing some minor streaming and editing but it's not the main purpose of this build. Is it worth the extra $100 to get the i7? Or would the i5 be enough?
  8. I'm looking to build a PC under $2000 in about a month. I've been researching for over a year and even with countless YouTube reviews and guides I still can't decide. I'm planning on playing titles like csgo, rainbow 6, pub g, and overwatch at 1080p. Is it worth it to buy an 1080Ti? Or is a 1080 enough? Here's my current configuration: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vzJP8Y
  9. I haven't fully decided yet on GPU, and I'm going to buy 16 GB of RAM at first and upgrade in the future

  11. Gotcha. Thank you very much for the help!
  12. Would you recommend going for the best Ryzen, or would that be overkill?
