Seems someone has asked and been answered, i didn't seen this until i did a very specific search. It is there but it seems the quality is not, i don't mind and the TV wasn't bought for 4K 120Hz but it is nice to see 120Hz at 1440. -

That's a far point and by any means its not the end of the world right now as i cant reach that frame rate, its just that if i can i will As of now i am gaming at 1440 120Hz and its stunning. I'll take another look tonight and see what i can find. While it is technically possible there are always bugs or issues, i will see if i can use DP but i may require some sort of adaptor and that is never fun to find one that works. -

It should be possible at 4:2:0 with 4K 120Hz, but if not then it explains why. The GPU has HDMI 2.0b. -
Morning guys, I am having a little trouble and wonder if you know a solution. I am trying to get the display from my PC to display at 4K 120hz but it keeps reverting to 60hz within Geforce Control Panel. Not sure if this a HDMI thing or my GPU(very much doubt this) or a bug from NVIDIA. I have tried the below with no success. Lower Resolution at 120Hz then 4k 120Hz Custom resolution(Cannot due to duplication) Changing colour format Using both Ultra UD, HD, SD and PC resolutions The steps are for me at least, go to change resolution, scroll down to the required resolution under PC (3840x2160) once selected i can see two options in there for 100Hz and 120Hz, but when i select apply it changes to the 120Hz then back to the 60Hz resolution under Ultra UD, HD, SD in the list. I can set the resolution to 1440 at 120Hz and that works like a dream but 4K will not no matter what i try. I am open to any suggestions. PC Build Link <- (Click me) FYI the image is not mine but rather a reference. Many thanks for any help.

I think it is all PR, the same happens every console cycle, they say its going to be a revolution and it is somewhat but never is to the point the marketing says. This new tech is very impressive and should help move things forward for everyone and i think that is something we should celebrate, but at the same time take all of this with a handful of salt. This is nothing more than an advert to say how great Epic is and that the PS5 is going to be more expensive than ever and there is a reason for that, its going to be much better than previous consoles. While i know i will get a PS5 i wont on day one, my PC will way out perform it and no titles will be out that anyone in reality will care about or could just simply wait for. I think this will be interesting to watch and see how this new tech will be implemented and what flavour they chose, because there are going to be a few for each platform. None the less its great to see things moving forward and i think we can all admit Epic made a great video that makes us all very hopeful for whats to come.

I get it, i fully expected my 3600X to be the last to sit in my X370. I think we are all losing sight of how much better this is than intel.

I love the DS4 over any xbox controller but this is a bit of love and hate, i dont like the curvy look and feel. But i must say i am extremely happy with the addition of the USB type C charge port. That was the only pit fall of the DS4. Overall i am feeling positive about this one and i hope all the work on their part pays off.

Honestly i haven't seen any changes and i can still stream at 4k from most services. Plus i am not on a top ISP and my speeds are not the best either. its been blown way out of control

I agree with this, i have a 3600X paired with my 2080Ti and it works like a dream.

If you just want case fans that will last the Corsair ML fans are always a good choice but that are pricey. Silence and durability come at a cost. I have not regretted them one bit.

I would say save your bios setup, revert to stock and see if you get the same issues.

That's fine but even something like the Noctua NH-U12S or the be quiet! Dark Rock 4 would be worth it, its just not worth cheaping out on cooling, you have to spend some money to avoid losing performance, espicialy with 3rd gen Ryzen, it gets so fussy about heat and power regulation. You don't have to go to the high end.

I have a 3600X under a Dark Rock Pro4 cooler and it happily boosts to 4.2Gigerhertz. I do have a good board and my air flow is high but so long as you have these you should be good too.
