  1. What resolution do you game at and whats your budget?
  2. At what resolution do you play at and what is your budget?
  3. These things happen, i think DIY builds always have the potential to go wrong, i do thing the AMD paste is crap and have never used it once. Personally i would have unhinged the socket retention leaver and been ready to support the CPU. Its not a great solution but its something, i think AMD have failed on their part to not include instructions in that box for removal.
  4. That's likely due to your CPU not your GPU, a 1080 is still a good 1440p card so its not your card. I only just upgraded from a 1080 to a 2080ti for 4k.
  5. Trust me i don't either, i paid a fortune for my Ram. It is the reason though and that's how they will spin it to the investors.
  6. This will not happen, this is NVIDIA we are talking about, the company that defines overpriced GPUs now. It's wishful thinking to even pretend this will happen, VRam mabey, but its going to cost you, also why on earth would you need 16GB in a consumer GPU anyway. I'm just going to settle for a 2080Ti and stay with that for a few years.
  7. Literally how i feel, its one of the few titles i look forward to on each release but i have serious doubts that they can make any good games now. The only part of Zenimax i trust is ID Software, DOOM has been fantastic and i cannot wait for DOOM ETERNAL.
  8. Hi Guys, I should have a new GPU arriving today, is there any penalty for using the VGA double 6+2 pin cable over two 6+2 pin cables? My PSU: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Hwbkcf/evga-b3-650w-80-bronze-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-220-b3-0650-v1 Many thanks in advance.
  9. Hi All, Another question for recommendations. My parteners PC is great and she loves it but the case is proving to be too large and she wants to down size to a smaller form factor. She wants to retain her view of the machine and see her RGB goodness but wants a smaller case. I did build this but am allays happy to have a new project, Any recommendations? Budget is not to much of a constraint. 10. If i was to upgrade do you think its worth it? If so what do you think is a high quality part?
  11. So you look at part estimated wattage? Easy enough, yes i own the EVGA B3 650w. I figured this would be enough for my build but get a little paranoid about it sometimes.
