  1. Recently got fiber internet and I am planning to buy a 20m long ethernet cable to connect it to my PC in another room. The only problem is that I know nothing about Ethernet cables. What should I be looking for? 50mbs upload 50mbs download fiber speeds
  2. Wired connection is faster/more reliable though, right? Also, I don't have wifi on my PC
  3. lol, made me chuckle but if the modem or router,I dont know the devices is in the kitchen and my pc is in another room. How would I use an ethernet cable? Do I have to buy a really long ethernet cable and have it run on the walls to my PC?
  4. Fiber is installed in the kitchen/lounge. My room is next to the kitchen. Is it possible? Kitchen on the left, room on the right
  5. sorry,I see that my phrased my question wrong. What I am actually looking for is an answer to whether this DAC is worth the extra money? Asking also because I'm not sure if my mobo supports the High-resolution sound or if I need the DAC to have this. EDIT : Went into control panel and the last 2 options are 24bit, 96000 Hz 24bit, 192000 Hz Does this mean that I can have high res audio without the DAC?
  6. I am planning on buying a new headset, Steelseries Arctis Pro Wired. There are 2 versions of this headset, one with a GameDAC and one without one.I'm unsure what the gameDAC does but I was told that if my motherboard supports the headphone's hd audio or 40kz audio, again I dont know what any of this means but I'd like to know if I need this part because of it is slightly more expensive. https://www.evetech.co.za/steelseries-arctis-pro-gamedac-gaming-headset-white/best-deal/4949.aspx here is the version with the gameDAC part. My specs are : B450 Tomahawk mobo Rx570 Ryzen 3400g cpu I did not buy any extra audio parts for my PC.
  7. I've been using this mouse since 16 February roughly 5 hours a day ever since. I started having this problem about 5 days ago. I'll be playing FPS games such as Apex Legends about once an hour, sometimes twice my mouse light would turn purple and it would stop responding for a second. The second after that my mouse would move really fast in any direction for half a second and then its back to normal. While the mouse is not responding I am moving it so I think the random direction it moves in is the way I moved it rapidly while it was not working. My mouse USB transmitter that is plugged into the back of my PC is about 80cm away from where my mouse is. My desktop PC is on my desk. The logitech software auto updates itself and I am using brand new AA Duracell Ultra battery that is 100% when I press on the battery so see how full it is. How do I fix my problem? I've tried using different USB ports on my PC, didnt work. Right now I am trying 2 new things to see if my problem will be fixed. I am using another brand new battery and I am using the USB extension cable so that the USB transmitter is about 20cm away from the mouse. I have tried cleaning my mouse pad and also making sure there is no dirt blocking the sensor of the mouse. Here is a picture of the LED light when its blue
  8. These 2 things pop up every time I turn on my computer. I've ignored it for the past year but now I want it gone. I've tried clicking on both yes and no options. My specs are ryzen 5 3400G; RX570; B450 Tomahawk Motherboard;2x 8GB DDR4 3200MHZ ram How do I get rid of these things showing up on my pc every ti me I turn it on?
  9. After giving it enough time, the pc turned on. I will definitely look into the voltages. I could always go to my local computer store and have them do tests if the problem gets worse or occurs once again Thanks for the reply!
  10. Whenever I put my PC on, the green case light is on always from the moment I put it on. Right now I have a problem. I put my PC on. Both of my case fans and my CPU cooler fan is spinning. The motherboard LEDs are on and my RX570 asus ROG red light is blinking on and off (its the logo) but the green case light is not going on 100%. The case lights do go on, but BARELY. I'd say they're 10% as bright as it should be This has happened many times, usually I restart it a couple of times and play around with the restart and power case buttons and eventually it goes on. Not today though, I've given it time and still not switching on. The last time this happened I took out my mobo's cmos battery and reset bios. Is it time to get a new PSU? Super Flower SF-650F14EG(BK) Leadex II 650W 80 Plus Gold Certified Fully Modular Desktop Power Supply. using this Rx570 Ryzen 5 3400g 2× 8gb ddr4 3200mhz B450 tomahawk Built in Aug 2019 What do I think caused this? Loadshedding (electricity blackouts). We get a lot in South Africa. Every time we get one I shutdown my PC however, there has been many times where the electricity goes off unexpectedly leaving me no time to put my pc off. Also, i use a surge protector plug Help would be appreciated
  11. I clicked on save changes and reset Now in task manager it says 1600mhz which means my ram is running at 3200mhz All is fixed.Thank you for the help!
  12. I changed A-XMP to Profile 1 And adjusted DRAM frequency changed to 3200mhz when I did this. Do I press Save Changes and Reboot?
  13. Okay I am back at my desktoo everything working fine but will I need to change my ram xmp in the bios? Not sure if it will run at 3200mhz after I did all that.Task manager says my speed is 1067mhz and not 3200mhz
  14. Haha yes.I used a simcard injector to take it out after I used my fingers at the place where u pointed.
  15. I have a B450 MSI Tomahawk mobo. Could you please tell me exactly what to do? Im still new to this, sorry.
  16. I thought my ram wasn't running at its proper speeds so I changed a bios setting from auto to 3200mhz I then realized that it was always at 3200mhz so I changed the 1 setting I changed back to its original setting of Auto I just exited bios by clicking on save and reboot. I waited 5 minutes and it was not rebooting so I manually shut down my pc by holding the power button down on my case Fast forward to now and my PC switches on and my green case light is on like it always is but my keyboard and mouse are not getting power neither is my monitor it says no input What can I do?
  17. Its much more expensive in my country (South Africa)
  18. Simple question, I can only afford one of these 2 monitors.Which one would you recommend? ViewSonic VX2458-C-MHD Samsung C24RG50FQU Thanks!

Will I need to use a VPN as well? Why am I buying it through amazon? I won a 10$ Amazon gift card in a giveaway and I'd like to use it on 10$ worth of Apex coins. https://www.amazon.com/Apex-Legends-Coins-Online-Game/dp/B07NPMZPZQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=1000+apex+coins+pc&qid=1602141386&sr=8-1
