I just purchased a Ryzen 7 5700x and I want to now figure out what GPU I need to start saving up for Build : cpu : Ryzen 7 5700X Gpu : RX 570 4GB (current) Mobo : MSI B450 Tomahawk Ram : 2x 8GB DDR4 3200MHZ Could you recommend me upgrades from different price points as I'm not sure if I should get something the price of the RTX gpus or RX 6600 or buy a used one which I've never done before All I need it for is 60fps 1080p AAA gaming at high or ultra settings and 144fps for competitive titles like shooters , CS2, Apex Legends, Warzone

Current build : Ryzen 5 3400G RX 570 (4gb) 2x 8GB 3200mhz DDR4 MSI B450 Tomahawk Super Flower SF-650F14EG(BK) Leadex II 650W, this is too much watt for my build. right? I plan to upgrade every single component over some time then give this current computer to my younger brother but currently I am on the fence as I do not know how much money I need to spend. First I'd like to upgrade my cpu then gpu and go from there to replace everything so I will be staying with Ryzen CPUs thats compatible with my B450 tomahawk Here is what I want : an 8 core/16 thread cpu, a friend recommended the Ryzen 5700G.I'm not sure about the GPU though. I definitely want a Nvidia GPU but if an AMD counterpart is better/cheaper then I will go with that. For the GPU I'd like to spend 300 USD - 400 USD. I am not sure if GPUs under 300 USD are worth the upgrade I'd also like to know what type of PSU ( and its Wattage) I'd need with a system with the CPU/GPU as stated above.

1 more question guys, I deleted everything on that windows screen but now when I go to "this pc" I dont see my 1TB HDD. How do I fix this?

Im in the desktop and both my drives are wiped right now and everything is working fine Before I did the fresh install I put USB as #1 boot priority. I unplugged it now that im done,do I have to go back into bios and set the SSD as boot #1? Msi B450 tomahawk

Why cant I install windows 10 on my SSD?Drive 0 part 1. Can i just ignore this message?

I am fresh reinstalling windows 10 and I want to delete everything I had. I have a 256gb ssd and a 1tb hdd. What do I do here if I want to format my 2 drives and start from scratch? My guess is to go to Drive 0 partition 1 and click format then go to Drive 1 partition 2 and select format. I dont want to mess anything up though

There is a section in the bios about boot priority . If I insert the usb before I put my pc on then put the USB first in line for boot priority would that work?

So here is how my pc is right now : Turn on, get to the screen where you put your password in. The moment I see the wallpaper, it freezes about 5 seconds later This is what I CAN do : Turn pc on and get into bios and it does not freeze there Press the restart button a bunch of times until it says windows has a problem and from there I can select to go into desktop with safe mode and it does not freeze. I want to wipe my SSD and HDD and fresh install windows 10 using a bootable windows 10 usb I just made. How do I first wipe my pc then fresh install with the usb?

Short backstory : RX570 Ryzen 5 3400g Msi b450 tomahawk Why I used display driver uninstaller : pc freezes when opening any browser, pc freezes when changing resolution, pc freezes other times too like when I just put the pc on and I open too many apps,but never when im gaming. Fps is still good in games So I disconnected my ethernet cable, put pc into safe mode. Ran Display driver uninstaller (DDU) and it did its thing then restarted my pc. It freezes after about 5-8 seconds ALWAYS when booting but only on the screen where u supposed to put your password in. BIOS is working perfectly , I boot into safe mode and its working perfectly. I have no idea how to fix this. I did open the case to check if everything is connected properly to the mobo. The next step I need to do is reinstall gpu drivers which DDU uninstalled but I cant because of the issue above. Here is event viewer pictures. By the way,everytime my pc freezes I either hold down the case shutdown button or press the restart case button. Its late right now so I'm off to bed, I will read and try all of your solutions tomorrow morning. I have already backed up my important files on another storage device and worst case scenario I will make a bootable windows USB drive and figure out how to do that and wipe both my drives but thats a problem I will only face if I cant fix this. In safe mode opening chrome does not freeze my computer!

My PC wont work,I can get into bios and everything works fine there. I was trying to use DDU and fresh install my gpu driver because of pc freezing when opening any browser or changing resolution. Did everything right, DDU restarts the pc as it should and now whenever I get to the screen that shows the time and if u press enter you get to put your password in. It freezes. Bios works fine so now I want to fresh install win 10 on the pc and delete/format everything on my 2 drives to start fresh Can I use the windows blue USB stick that came with my purchase of windows that I bought in 2019 or must I take my 16gb USB and make it one of this by following instructions with the windows media creation tool? I'd prefer to just use this blue stick in the picture. also,How do I even do what I want? Fresh install windows 10 and format/delete everything on my ssd and HDD? My guess : Put usb in pc>Turn pc on> spam delete key > get into bios and change the 1st boot priority to USB then find boot from USB.Will I be able to format both drives while doing the fresh install of windows?

TLDR at the bottom of the page: My electricity unexpectedly went off for 5 minutes, my pc was on when it went off. I turned my psu switch off and when the power came back on I turned the psu switch on and pressed the pc power button. All fans spinned, gpu LED went on and when I press the restart button my GPU LED changes color. RX 570 My msi b450 tomahawk has the CPU LED on a constant red and I can switch the psu white lights on and off via a small switch at the back. I have ryzen 5 3400G Here is what I tried : Removing CMOS battery for 5 minutes,putting it back in and attempting to turn pc on. Unplug everything besides the monitor cable from pc then attempt to turn pc on. Leaving it on for 10 minutes, putting it off and on again. Nothing Computer still wont go on. I do have an anti surge plug by the wall socket which my pc connects to. What else can I do? Also, I did clean my pc yesterday but my cpu fan and the thing below that is dusty but I can only clean that once I buy thermal paste as I dont have any. Here in South Africa I deal with power outages daily but normally I know when its going off and I put the PC off and turn off the PSU switch just before the power goes off and when electricity is back on it turns on just fine and if it doesnt waiting some minutes fixes it. This current incident has happened before and waiting many hours, normally fixes it. TLDR : Power went off while my pc is on and now it wont turn back on. I tried removing CMOS battery and re-inserting,didnt work. Its has 6 holes Next pic is a cable I had in my pc box that I think I used to make this fan work, it has more 6 pin things Lastly,my only case fan has this wire coming out of it and a 3 pin I connect to sys_fan1 This wire coming from fan 1 can be connected to the cable B450 tomahawk mobo

Well,the cable I need must be 20 meters because the router will be in the kitchen.Right now I'm using a 1 meter cat5e cable since the router is next to my desktop PC

I've been told that I should buy a full copper cat5e ethernet cable instead of a stranded one for using my 50/50 fiber internet. There are other plans for 1GBs but that's out of my budget.I've been using LTE plan with LTE router for years and I dont even get 10mbs. 50 is a big improvement for me. Its about 40 GBP a month South Africa

so to sum it up short Any Cat5e cable that is not CCA should do me perfect. How do I know if its not CCA? What is the other version called?
