  1. Wasnt the core utility and total CPU utility flat at 100% too? Also, the PC is working fine, but Im worried this can have relation to the temperature problem and become a worst problem later on. The idea of posting this is to see if anyone has ever seen this type of situation before. And I wouldnt have any money to buy parts at the moment so if there is something I can do for now to make it last longer, or at least the CPU to run cooler.
  2. Core Utility got to 117% and Total CPU 110% on HWInfo64 This was 10min of Cinebench R24 results were 1140 points
  3. I dont even know how this is possible, I have a R9 5900X going to 114% usage and I wanted to know if anyone has any idea what the problem is, I dont have other parts to test and here is what I have of information so far: I start to notice that the cooler was always going 100% and temps were always in 90-95C so I enable the temp limit on PBO on 75C and for my surprise didnt lose any perfomance, still boosting and holding nicely on almost 5GHz on cinebench. Previous to that I was only using PBO with no temp limit. I already tested with PBO desable, clean windows 11 and windows 10 instalation, BIOS reset to default and the problem of the temperature is still there, but the last time I was doing the test I notice that the CPU utilization was over 100%. I started to notice this problem back when the pump of my old AIO stopped working (It was a Lian Li Galahad 360mm AIO 2020 edition, so it had the clogging problem), I though the problem was only temperature because one of the tubes wasnt even flowing water anymore but even with another cooler the temperature problem continues and I dont know if it has relation to the CPU usage problem. On Task Manager it only shows 100% usage because the graph can only go up to 100%. GPU Upgrade

I could wait for the big jump, but than I could be waiting for a really long time (given that I'm using an old RX570 for now) and the wasnt able to play the most recent titles that I wanted. But since ThousandBlade said I think I'll go with it for now, and later do a full system upgrade when this jump happens. I was just really skeptical to buy this GPU and having to change the PSU just for that (since this PSU is not even 1 year old).

    GPU Upgrade

I usually play the new AAA titles, TLOU, Jedi Survivor, RE4. I did play Cyberpunk alot and still want to go back once I buy the GPU. About FG, DLSS and FSR, I dont think I'll be using, I have used FSR for a while on a RX590 but it had lots and lots of problems and didn't like it (mostly ghosting and textures bugs), my use case would be all high/ultra if possible, 60FPS 4k native. If I wasnt going for Ray Tracing I could just get the RX7900 XT but, if any title comes out that really uses the tecnology I would end up regretting my choice. I just want a PC that will last me for the next 3/4 years and the RTX 4090 at least for now has that potential since it can use RT native, has enough VRAM for titles to come (I hope).
  6. I was thinking about a possible upgrade to my system, currently is a: Ryzen 9 5900X Lian Li Galahad 360mm AIO B550 ROG Gaming A 4x16GB XPG D60 3600mhz RM850X White Lian Li O11D (not the XL) 9x Lian Li Uni Fans (Total of 12 fans, 3 bottom, 3 side, 6 on top push pulling the radiador) I build the PC during the pandemic, but right after I lost my job. I was about to buy a RTX 3080 at the time. Now I have the necessary money for an upgrade and I was looking to buy a RTX 4090 Suprim X Liquid (as you can see by the spec its mostly for aesthetic) I did some testing and research to see if I was going to have to change my PSU and here is what I have: The PC Part Picker showed a fixed 450W power consumption from the RTX 4090 and it got close to 760W total system. All fans I use in the Quiet profile in Armory Crate. Temps are close to 70C most of the time. I wont be using 100% of the PC all the time, its just gaming and some video editing. I live in Brazil and the price for this RTX 4090 is U$2728,09 if I was going to change my PSU the ONLY option I would have is throw another U$505,65 on a 1200W ROG Thor (And I would have the old PSU with no use and no one to sell it). Also, I dont know how much it changes things, but where I live we use 220V and not the standard 110~130V. I am okay with undervolting the card if necessary. I was also thinking about the RX 7900 XTX or the upcoming RX 7950 XTX, but I really want to just set the games on High with RT and enjoy all the eye candy possible on a 4K display. My question is: If I'm going with the best setup possible without having to change my PSU, can I still go with this card? Or maybe another model of the 4090? (ROG STRIX White or Zotec AMP White, keeping it close to the White/Silver build) If I go with this 4090, will I have to up the fans speed? That will make the PC consume more power and maybe get to close to the maximum PSU spec.
  7. I downloaded Nicehash to try and follow all the guides required for AMD. After I mined for a few hours I turn off my computer, once I boot it up again to play I was lagging so hard, did some internet connection testing and on the wi fi was okay, but on the PC was only 200KBps downloads speed. So I reset all my internet options, reset the router, formated my PC, reset the bios and I'm still having this problem. I couldn't even finish installing the drivers because of the slow download. Specs: Ryzen 9 5900x RX 570 4GB SAPPHIRE PULSE OC (I live in Brazil GPU are 10x the US pricings) ASUS ROG B550 Gaming-A 2x16GB XPG D60G 3600mhz Crucial BX500 480GB SSD 2TB SEAGATE 7200RPM HD No PC parts were changed for troubleshooting, also don't have another internet to test or wi fi. The PC is almost unusable anymore, can't download anything
  8. "Air find its way out", its true, but the time it takes is longer than a natural path, making the hot air last longer inside the case, causing highter thermals in the overall components
  9. Make sense, but, still doesnt say anything about how hot it gets, and going above 120ºC will shorten lifespan of the VRMs (because I want to sell the board after). I do have the option of changing the top fans to intake so it creates a better direct air on the VRM, but its going to conflict with the air coming out of the GPU, having a mess of a path for the air to flow and holding up more hot air inside the case.
  10. The airflow I did has a design to keep the GPU cooled, this RX 570 is running at close to 1500mhz, memory at 2000mhz and doesnt go beyond 66ºC on 100%load (fan curve set to +/- 75% at 65ºC. It blows hot air to the sides, and up, leaving no hot air stuck inside the case. About the pressure, I have done some testing and the fans speeds create amost a balance air flow (the bottom ones have a higher rpm). There is a lot of people that use the side on the O11D as intake, but that goes against the natural flow of this particular GPU.
  11. The Bios is uptaded for Ryzen 5000, but I dont think the VRMs on this motherboard are ready
  12. I just bought a new Ryzen 9 5900x to upgrade my build, and I am going to pair with an B550/X570 Aorus Master, but the motherboard was out of stock and I only could buy the CPU, I have a ASRock B450M Steel Legend with a Ryzen 3 3200G (OC 4.2GHz). Can I use the Ryzen 9 5900x (for now would be just gaming, after the motherboard change I will start doing productivity work) on this motherboard with out destroying my VRMs? (I intend to sell this board later on). Picture of the setup attach, air flow configuration is 3 intake, 9 exaust (top using push pull config), bottom fans with +/-1500rpm, side 800rpm, top 1100rpm. Full setup now: CPU: Ryzen 3 3200G OC 4.2Ghz Ram: 2x8 3000 Ballistix Mech Motherboard: ASRock B450M Steel Legend GPU: RX 570 SAPPHIRE PULSE OC PSU: Corsair RM850x Gold 80+ Cooler: Lian Li Galahad 360 AIO Fans: Lian Li Unifans 120mm SSD: Crucial BX500 HDD: 2TB Seagate 7200rpm Upgrade order: CPU (Ryzen 9 5900x), RAM (4x16 Tridentz Neo 3600/4000mhz CL16), Motherboard (X570/B550 Aorus Master), GPU (some highend on next gen), SSD (some M.2 NVME Gen4), more RGB for FPS
  13. Hey guys, a few weeks ago I build a PC for video editing and for some reason the USB 3.1 and the front ports suddenly stops working after 40min, the rest of the PC is fine, working normally, I've searched lots of forums trying to find a solution or at least an explanation as to why this is happening but din't find anything. I've send the board back for testing once and they said the board was fine (not hardware related issue) but I did lots of testing with different drivers, old drivers, new drivers, alternative drivers and the problem still continues, can anyone help me? The PC has the following specs: RYZEN 7 2700X ASUS PRIME B450M GAMING/BR 2X8GB HYPERX FURY DDR 2400MHZ MSI AMD RADEON RX 570 ARMOR OC CORSAIR 550W 80PLUS BRONZE SSD BX500 CRUCIAL SEAGATE SKYHAWK 1TB MASTERBOX Q300L
  14. The difference price here in Brazil Ryzen 5 1600 x Ryzen 2600 is kinda high, the difference if I get a 2600 with a B350 or B450 may be almost R$1000 or more, and both processors have almost the same specs
  15. I kinda wanna to know if there is a best option for cost/per dollar then the Ryzen 5 1600 with GTX 1070ti I was planning to do a Ryzen 5 1600 stock cooler, with any 1070ti that fits the budget, it came to R$5.145 here in Brazil, close to 1330 US Dollars I choose this set setup for 2k gaming in 60fps I really tried to cheap out the most with what I have available for purchase here, but if you guys have any ideas on how to make this setup even cheaper, I dont pretend to overclock ou change no cooler initially so any type of A320M motherboard is fine (maybe a future upgrade for a B350 with a water cooler) The full setup: Motherboard MSI p/ AMD AM4 A320M GRENADE DDR4 Processor AMD Ryzen 5 1600 c/ Wraith Spire, Six Core, Cache 19MB, 3.2GHz (Max Turbo 3.6GHz) AM4 - YD1600BBAEBOX Arctic Silver 5 3,5g AS5-3.5G Memory Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB 2400Mhz DDR4 CL15 Black - HX424C15FB2/8 (2x) SSD Crucial 2.5´ 120GB SATA III 6Gb/s Leituras: 555MB/s e Gravações: 510MB/s - CT120BX300SSD1 HD WD SATA 3,5´ Blue PC 1TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s - WD10EZEX Fonte Corsair 550W 80 Plus Bronze CX550 - CP-9020121 VGA NVIDIA MSI GEFORCE GTX 1070 TI AERO 8G The case I'll check out later because depending on how the setup may look I'll get a black box (so the setup wont be exposed if ugly) Should I get everything at once? (water cooling, better MB, overcloking, nice design and all) or go with the cheapest and upgrade later on?
