  1. No, I work for an insurance company. Thanks for the response. I have seen other docks that are smaller work online, but was worried since this has more power than those. I'll probably play it safe unless I can find out others have done it successfully. If I do end up testing it I'll be sure to post it.
  2. This is the dock I have. Dell WD15 - https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln304627/dell-dock-wd15-usb-type-c-information-compatibility-and-specifications?lang=en
  3. Hello, I'm fairly new to the forum, but have been watching LTT and all other channels for over a year now. I'm getting the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G (was on sale for $20/month for 24 months) to replace my iPhone 6s. I have a docking station at home that connects my monitor and peripherals to my work laptop. Would I be able to plug my phone into the docking station to charge and use the peripherals, or would there be potential harm due to the power of the docking station? I figured this would be the way of the future where for basic computing needs you can just plug your phone in and use desktop mode, but I'm worried about damaging the phone/battery. Thanks for your help!
  4. Was definitely the case. Pulled off the side panel and all temps dropped by 10-20*C! Thanks for everyone's help, this is getting returned to microcenter.
  5. When I enable xfr I see it jumping over 1.5 occasionally for CPU. When setting it myself in Ryzen Master I limit to 1.4V for CPU and 1.2V for SOC. Similar thermal results for both. I've got a feeling now it's the case. Will be calling microcenter tomorrow after some testing to see if I can return it most likely. Just picked it up on the 6th.
  6. Will have to give that a go tomorrow. If it's that easy to fix I will be happy and upset.
  7. I have some MX-4 in my Amazon cart already, so I'll pull the trigger on that. Any suggestions for a similarly priced case? Had it in a Thermaltake Lanbox Lite and temps didn't seem as bag then. Just recently got this case to fit a new desk. Assumed since it had more and larger fans it would have better airflow.
  8. I think my temps are high and want to see what others are at and any suggestions. Running the Ryzen 5 2400g as my first build and stay to PC gaming. I'm using the stock wraith spire cooler. At idle it sits around 40*C, basic computing is between 50-60*C, and gaming sits at 85*C and does in to the 90s sometimes. Rainbow six siege seems to sit around 95*C and once spiked to 101 briefly. Cooler slid around on install so I'm not sure of this could have done something to the thermal paste? Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.
