  1. Ok thanks I'll look into this, any ideas on how hard this would be?
  2. Christmas 2018 I built myself a new pc with a used rx580 8GB off Ebay. Recently, over the last few weeks my fan has started to scratch a bit and make noises. Whe I removed the card I've noticed that the fan closest to the ports is sticking slightly and doesnt spin freely, I used a cotton bud to clean the dust off the fan blades. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix this or alternatively, if I can simply tape the fan so it doesn't spin and make the awful noise it is currently making or will this week performance and ruin the lifespan of the card? Thanks.
  3. I have a set of cheap drums that my mum bought for me ages ago and I want to make some music with them un audacity but the connector looks like the pic attached, what is it called? Thanks
  4. I would go with the Vega 56 just because of the price to performance, the 1070 probably has better performance but is more expensive. the CPU should be fine aswell :)
  5. I'm thinking of getting a new graphics card, i currently have an RX 580 8gb and im wondering what would be a worth while upgrade for me, im willing to spend about 220, thanks.
  6. dual channel but i have space to upgrade
  7. I've been playing games such as Fortnite fine since xmas but i recently downloaded steep for free and i was having really bad micro stuttering but i fixed it by turning down the resolution multiplayer a little but I have recently bought GTA 5 and i have a solid 60-90 fps but really bad micro stuttering in card and planes, I've tried to turn the settings down and nothing has helped, any ideas. I have an rx580 and a ryzen 5 2600
  8. thanks for this but i don't have that option as far as i can see, any further instructions?
  9. I have a us style keyboard as i found it at a discount but for some reason my PC recognises it as a UK keyboard and as a result i cant use the backslash which, as i am learning to code python, is quite annoying. If anyone knows how to change the layout the PC detects this would be greatly appreciated. thanks
  10. Recently i have been unable to print off my main PC as when I attempt to print a document in Libre office I receive an error message saying the printer is in as error state, although when I check the printer there is no error message, I can print fine off my phone and laptop but my PC is much more convenient to use any help would be greatly appreciated ps. As far as i know i am using the latest version of libre office (6.2.1) and i am printing off the cannon mb5100 printer.
  11. correct me if I'm wrong but couldn't you just use MSI afterburner to turn the fan curve down?
  12. i have a Ryzen 5 2600 and RX 580 and at 1080p i get around 170 fps on fortnite max settings, so for being such as casual games like yourself the RX580 should be good especially as you bought the nitro+ as that's factory overclocked if i remember rightly, hope this helps.
  13. At that price i would go for it sounds like a great deal :)
