  • Biography
I'm currently working at a multi-national IT-BPO company, currently under the area of cloud infrastructure support, but I was able to work with actual servers on my previous job. Though I'm doing fine with cloud and on-premise infrastructure, I still hope to be able to go back to programming.

I currently have 2 Android phones (Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 4, 2 Android tablets (Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and a generic-ish one that I don't use anymore), a 7-year old HP G42-368TX laptop, and a recently-bought used Samsung Gear VR SM-R323. I still dream of building my own 2-monitor-ish gaming rig complete with RGB lol

  1. No news about them yet. Sammobile has an unofficial list based on how Samsung updates its devices (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/android-10-update) but I suggest waiting for the official list from Samsung itself.
  2. Source: Android Authority - https://www.androidauthority.com/one-ui-2-s9-note-9-1056286/ I'm sure Linus would be so happy to know that his Note 9 will get Android 10.
  3. Not really an issue, but I figured I'd still ask here. Am I violating anything if I post somewhere (Reddit, for example) a screenshot of a video released in Floatplane but not yet in Youtube? It's just a meme.
  4. This is not yet in Floatplane: UPDATE: It's now up. Thanks!
  5. I tried applying before for Floatplane, and based on their form, it seems they're willing to accept people from outside Canada as long as they're willing to relocate and have the necessary documents to work.
  6. Hi, Just wanted to know if there's any way to open FP-exclusive topics like this. I got the link from one of the vids that's unreleased yet in Youtube. I sent an email to the support email address, but it's kinda vague for me: If I understand this correctly, does this mean that I won't be able to open FP-only topics until the migration is done?
  7. I just subscribed to Floatplane few days ago, and I kinda miss the ad spots. Now I'm thinking about cancelling it. :P

  8. 8:48 Linus: Why are these two pieces of wood very different lengths? Hold on a minute here. *points camera to Brian's junk* *points camera to Linus' junk* *me goes LOL* ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) MOAR SHOOTER RILEY PLS
  9. Same here, I noticed those, too. But I understand because the shooter is new, and I know that he'll get the hang of it after he shoots more videos and gets used to the equipment. Also, this feedback is definitely better than those giving feedback in a negative way. Like duh, no one's a master of a skill overnight; it takes time and practice to gain expertise in their skill. I'm sure those bastards don't even know how to operate an actual camera, let alone a $100,000+ RED camera. Also MOAR RILEY IN LTT VIDEOS!!. Hopefully there'll be a video where Riley would review an RTX card, even if it's just for lols.
  10. Yeah that's good. If you're able to record beyond 1080p, that's better because YT compresses the video when you upload them, and you'll reduce the quality loss in your video. Just to add: try to incorporate something in your video that makes you unique and sets you aside from other creators, like the tagline "Hey guys, this is Austin" from Austin Evans, or the way you deliver your videos that'll keep your viewers watching all the way to the end.
  11. From what I read, it can either be the Ethernet port or cable that's causing the issue. Try replacing the cable first. If not, see if you can borrow a PCIe Ethernet card or buy a cheap used one, disable the onboard Ethernet port, and use only the PCIe Ethernet card. Let us know how this goes.
  12. When shit gets real and you have to call your boss so that everyone still gets paid their salary and company keeps running lol
