  1. Hey looking for a cheap but decent ultra wide monitor if anyone can suggest any would appreciate it looking for one with a 90hz screen or above and don’t mind buying second hand,
  2. Oh nice, also can’t find the spectre on amazon is it not available in the uk?
  3. If you don’t mind me asking what do u mean by ghosting?
  4. Res would be anything 1080p And above would like a higher refresh rate then 60hz probs 90 or above and size not too sure something big enough to replace 2 smaller screens nicely probably 30 inch or more and my budget is set exactly yet as I will probably look for one cheaper second hand but wouldn’t really want to pay more then £200
  5. Hey guys just wondering if anyone could recommend me some monitors got 2 monitors at the moment but they both aren’t amazing and one is definitely on its way out. I’m thinking of replacing the 2 with one bigger wide or ultra wide monitor, haven’t got an amazing budget and I’m okay with buying second had, just want to know if anyone could recommend an affordable one that’s still had decent colours and viewing angles as this is what my monitors are lacking quite a lot at the moment.
  6. is there any cheaper ram i could get could be pretty generic im not too fused as long as the proformance is there
  7. nice one thanks for the help guys https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASRock-B450M-HDV-R4-0-Promontory-Motherboard/dp/B07MWGKHR9/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=B450&qid=1585996976&sr=8-3 what about this mb?
  8. hey guys been thinking of upgrading my cpu motherboard and ram as i curretly have a fx 8350 https://builds.gg/builds/berrys-pc-build-25222 link to my pc build with specs thinking of going for a second hand ryzen processor as my budget is pretty tight, jsut wondering if anyone could help me or come up with good bang for the buck suggestions p.s. doesnt have to be ryzen just what ive looked at so far
  9. okay, ill probably just use the 2.0 header for the usb 3.0 then and the 3.0 for the type c and try and find a motherboard which will do both when i next upgrade thanks for your help much appreciated?
  10. yes ive seen them but due to how my pc is set up there wouldnt be enough room to add one, i only have one usb 3.0 at the moment connected to that header so there must be away of adding a usb 3.0 and usb c to the one header if 2 is the maximum it supports
  11. i noticed today that my pc case has a usb type c cut out but no port. i found a cable which would add the port perfectly to my pc but the only issue is it connects to the usb 3.0 20 pin header which means id have to unplug my existing usb 3.0 port and connect that to a 2.0 header as my motherboard only has one 3.0 header which is annoy as id like to keep the 3.0 speeds on the existing port. ive seen usb 3.0 header cables that go into 2 usbs before so i was wondering if there was a way i could get a usb c and usb 3.0 port to connect to the one usb3.0 header on my motherboard. ill link the cables im referring to below https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USA-Single-Port-USB3-1-Type-C-Female-to-USB3-0-Motherboard-19pin-Header-Cable/173831361733?hash=item28792814c5:g:XlEAAOSwpwZbzqi4 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dual-USB-3-0-A-Female-to-20-Pin-Header-Motherboard-Cable-Lead-Adapter-Connection/273399871310?hash=item3fa7e6f74e:g:-moAAOSwfsFbfpvA
  12. hi so ive tried a new cpu and got nothing so i assumed it was the mobo so i got a new one and it wokr it booted up into the bios all the temps voltages clockspeeds and stuff looked great on the ram and cpu and then all of a sudden it switches off and is now doing the exact same where it wont boot any ideas?
  13. so i have just bought a cpu and motherboard off ebay to upgrade my pc and it will boot and the fans will spin but sometimes sometimes ramp up and down and then shutting off i have plugged in a speaker to test the beep codes where im getting 5 beeps which i believe to be a processor problem of some sort the processor i have is a i5 7500 and the motherboard is Gigabyte B250M-DS3H both listing said they were in perfect working order and i havent miss handled them in anyway and they both dont appear to have any physical damage caused by shipping any idea of how i can fix this issue. i have unplugged everything apart from mb and cpu power and i ha e tried multiple display outputs including my gtx980ti aswell as the on board hdmi and vga. if anyone can help with this issue it would be much appreciated.
