  1. I got the AM4 bracket included in the box. Do u know how Rust treats Ryzens atm? I remember huge problems with fps and core utilisation.
  2. That's what I wanted to do but irl stuff got messed up so I won't have enough free time to do that, that's why I asked here.
  3. Since I'm not exactly able to check prices (especially in $ or £), I'd say my budget is all the way up to the price of 9900k for cpu alone.
  4. At first I wanted to go for another Intel's chip (9700K at least), but seeing recommendations towards AMD I'm kinda confused rn. My current cooler is SPC Navis 240 and id like to keep it. My target: no video editing, no rendering, purely gaming at 1440p@144hz(almost every new AAA title, but games that I play when I finish AAA's are Rust, Overwatch and League) Which CPU would be the best choice? (also, my gpu is 1080 TI, which will get an upgrade at new gen)
  5. It isnt listed on site, but i found an amazing deal, so i thought id ask. EDIT: nvm
  6. I also have the A12, but it's 140 mm. There isn't almost any difference between stock fan and the S12A.
  7. I used Kryonaut Thermal Grizzly. How do I increase the pump speed?
  8. Today I received my order with Navis 280 for my CPU (which works flawless, I love it!) and a G12 + H55 for my Aorus 1080 TI. I got annoyed by the way I had to mount the AiO in the bracket, but I made it. Previously on Heaven Benchmark on stock cooler I maxed out at 73 degrees, now after launching the benchmark my temps jump instantly +20 degrees to 55, then they slowly go up till like 65 (changed stock Corsair fan for a Noctua NF-S12A, connected to 3 pin for best results). Notice, that my case is open since I wanted to test how everything works, and my plan to mount the H55 as exhaust is going to make temps even worse. At 1st start I hit 71 degrees on the GPU. Edit: H55 just went crazy about making burpling sound that I thought its leaking all over the place, but it stopped after like 1 minute. Also, the tubes are pretty hot while my Navis almost doesn't get hot at all.
  9. took out both big and cmos battery, did not help at all reseatting also doesnt seem to work
  10. Im using an unlocked bios which supports all the cpus up to extreme editions. Also, i found a one topic that guy upgraded from 330m to i7-740qm and it worked fine for him instantly.
  11. Laptop turns on for 0.5s, then instantly turns off. I changed from i3-380M to i7-720QM (laptop has other versions and one of them has this i7). Some people had the same problem, but those questions are like +5 years old and mostly they did not receive any answer. Also this laptop has 2 versions of motherboard, KL3 and KL3A, but they are built in the same way, is that a problem?
