  1. I can buy a $15 Dell Optiplex 275w oem psu. Should I upgrade for safety reasons? I've been researching and alot of people say the psu could overload or the mobo explodes.
  2. I bought a Dell Optiplex 3010 i5-3470 @ 3.20Ghz /8Gb/ 1TB Desktop. I am hoping to add a GTX 1050 TI 4GT LP. The desktop is going to come with a 250w psu. Would I need to upgrade my micro ATX psu for the 1050 ti? https://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/optiplex_3010_technical_guidebook.pdf Information about watts start on page 16.
  3. Should I just upgrade to a 300w plus psu? Because I don't know how to check power distribution. The mobo is a micro atx dell oem board.
  4. Yes, the gpu will work. But the psu might explode. Would upgrading the psu have any affect at all? It is a micro atx mobo that uses a micro atx psu. The pc costed only $125, psu will cost $30 and the gpu will cost like $100-160.
  5. So I am making a budget gaming pc for fun. It will be my first desktop ever since I always use laptops. I already ordered the used pc. The thing is that the mobo will barely support a 1050ti low profile card. Would increasing the 240w psu to a 450w psu give more watts for the mobo to give to the gpu? The pc is a T573 Dell Optiplex 3010 i5-3470 with 8gb of ddr3 ram and a 1 tb hdd.
